The room was non smoking, but we smelled cigarette smoke as soon as we got in the room. I called the front desk and let them know that the smell was coming from the homeless people sitting out Side the hotel smoking. There were crack heads in the room next door getting there door knocked on all night and into the morning. The homeless people never left after the staff said they would tell them to and because of the window mounted hvac unit we had cigarette and pot smoke pumped into the room all night. After waking up with headaches the homeless people were still outside the room smoking. And the toilet was plugged up. Overall horrible. Staff seemed nice and helpful.

Don’t let the outside fool you this is a fantastic and safe place to stay its cheap walking distance to fast food and other shopping areas. It looks small and it’s an older building but the staff that checked me in were top Notch. The night manager was crazy helpful to the lady in front of me and that carried on to me. Mahalo aloha

I advise Expedia Canada to delete this location from their site. I stayed here last Sunday and phoned corporate about an incident that occurred. I get a computer generated letter from them offering an apology. The staff and full time residents that live here are rude, disgusting and found myself being threatened by the staff, as I dare to ask for a pastry after they were all stuffed in a residents pockets. I WATCHED HER TAKE 15 PASTRIES. This place is the worst motel I have ever stayed at. WHY, would a company like Expedia Canada have them on their list. DO NOT STAY HERE.

Not bad for single or couple travelers
This poor hotel has a lot on its plate being one of the more affordable stays in Medford. The good: breakfast was awesome on our first morning, check-in was quick and simple and the staff all seemed happy to help. The bad: breakfast the following morning was almost non-existant as they seemed to be out of many things. We were unable to adjust the temprature of the mini fridge in our room which caused all of our fresh food to freeze over night, ruining all our food. There was a bizarre odor eminating from the elevator and the a/c unit in our room. Our shower head was broken, causing water to flood the bathroom area. We also found several tylenol gel caps on the floor of our room. Which our toddler could have easily mistaken for candy had we not checked. The floors appeared largely unswept prior to our arrival. Unsure if we will stay here again. If you have kids, it may be better to pay a little extra to stay someplace else.

Hire a good maintenance crew
For the most part the stay was good, but there were some issues that are typical of hotels that don't want to pay for a good maintenance person. For example: whoever cut the bottom of the bathroom door was not careful and large chips were taken out of the door finish. The person who did some of the caulking did a very unsightly job. The person who installed the mirror put multipurpose screws right through the frame of the mirror. Lastly, though not a maintenance persons fault, the only available outlets were on the light fixture mounted to the wall by the bed or in the vanity area.

I have a dog and this hotel allows pets. It’s great for the price and breakfast was good. Waffles, cereal, biscuits and gravy, bagels, coffee and a few more items. Eating area is small so I preferred to eat in my room. Hotel is old and needs to be upgraded. However, for one night while passing through is fine.
