The hotel staff were excellent! Our room was a little tatty. In the fact the towel rack is completely pulled through on one side. So just kind of hangs there. Lots of paint chips throughout. Beds were comfortable a/c worked really well. Shower had lots of pressure even though lots of water still came out of the downspout. I believe they are in the process of renovating rooms. We just happened to get one that’s not on the list yet.

Good breakfast, nice pool, pleasant staff. Just wish they'd hurry up and get done with the construction and that I would get one of the updated rooms when I stay here. Never heard from housekeeping during my latest 2 night stay.

The Ramada is an old building that is only partially renovated. The first room smelled terrible, the bathroom light was out, and there was no lock on the breezeway window. The staff moved us to a recently renovated room which was very nice (albeit the stuffed chair was stained green velvet, the desk chair was orange striped, and the curtains gold and black - in a blue and aqua room). The breakfast was the usual rubber scrambled eggs and sausage, but there was no hot water for tea. I heated water in my room, but there were no tea bags. The fire alarm beeped every 15 minutes all night long, although the staff fixed it the following day. We enjoyed the sauna. I booked through Wyndham because I assumed a hotel chain would have a minimum standard - clean, quiet and safe. The first room was neither quiet or safe. And, we were charged $5.00 more than the original expedia quote. I didn’t argue, but it annoys me that the online quote is wrong. I won’t bother with Wyndham again - they are untrustworthy.

This property is not what we were expecting. The photos shown on Expedia is not what you get when you get to the hotel. Our room was in very poor conditions. The carpet floor in our bedroom was dirty, the computer chai was disgusting and filthy. The bathtub in our bedroom did not have a safety handle, it was actually broken. They did not provide shampoo or conditioner or a hairdryer. The areas around the property (hallways and stairs) were dirty and cigarets buts were all over the place. I booked another room for one of my colleagues and she didn’t have a window in her bedroom which is probably ilegal. They also photocopied our drivers license without even asking, they retained the photocopy during our stay and we had to ask them to give us copy when we checked out. The experience was terrible and Expedia, should inspect these properties. This should not be advertised as it is in the Expedia website, the photos do not match the actual rooms, this hotel is disgusting.

This property is under renovation so it is an undergoing some changes. However we were surprised to be upgraded to a king size bed with a kitchenette. It was very nice, the bed was very comfortable and pillows were great!

While checking in other customers were asking to see camera footage as someone had stolen items from their vehicle. We woke up next morning to all of the fuel in our vehicle had been siphoned out. Hotel is fairly old and the age is showing , plug ins cracked , tubs need re siliconed etc.

This place is utterly disappointing. I truly HOPE they’re undergoing renovations or something as that would be the only excuse I would kind of accept for the state that the hotel is in. From the moment I found my room, there was a dirty washcloth outside. Rooms are also dirty, the first room we stayed in had staining on the floor, walls, and the tub. After being moved rooms, the quality was still highly disappointing. The hotel looks like it’s in disrepair. The pool is fine. The washroom near the pool the lights don’t work, and the door to the bathroom barely closes with you in it. The paper towel and toilet paper were both empty. All the service doors to the staff areas were constantly open, and looked dirty. Even finding a plug for electronics to charge overnight was a struggle. Had to use the one in the bathroom. Accessible power feels like the bare minimum. Save your money, stay somewhere else.

Probably a 3 start facility. However if you are a traveller who wants something convenient, a quick swim and hot tub , hot breakfast and get back on the road, this is a real deal. The area has multiple restaurants within 200m of the facility including a lounge, a steakhouse, indian foos restaurant and Tim Hortons.

No waffles at breakfast despite being advertised as available. This is and important little treat I search for when booking motel rooms. The rest of my experience was good but I gave it a lower rating due to my disappointment at breakfast.

went to check in and the front door was locked and no one answered the phone at the front desk for five minutes. then the shower/tub in our room didn’t drain water. absolutely gross.

I wished they have more variety breakfast stuffs. I’d stay here for work but they have the same breakfast everyday. Need some additional/alternate menu.

We spent 17 days in Room 118 Ramada Medicine Hat during the undergoing a major upgrade. We were understanding of the construction noise and chose to not complain. However, when I extended my stay, It would have been Great Customer Service to have been offered a different room, as the construction has landed right outside our door for the last 5 days of stay. The noise didn't allow for sleeping in, and we quit using the outside entrance and used the interior entrance door due to the trail of sawdust being brought in. The carpet in our suite is in dire need of a cleaning. . . thank goodness for slippers! It surprises me they can keep the linens so brightly white! Pet friendly is so appreciated and very affordable. It was $15/night for my well trained quiet small dog. Walking spaces nearby 👍 We enjoyed the Steam Sauna, Indoor Pool, and Hot Tub! Free breakfast was available, with eggs, sausage and hash browns for hot eats along with muffins, bagels etc. One day a staff scolded my hubby for bringing breakfast to the room instead of eating in the Continental Room - thought that was inappropriate considering he's 60 not 6. . . some people have control issues. We didn't have a vehicle so cant speak about parking. I enjoyed the jetted tub, but our assistance bar was missing, I didn't let that stop me! Great shower pressure! Microwave was older but worked well. Fridge is tiny! 1 cup coffee maker, yet Suite has 2 Q beds + p/o couch - appliances should match. 🙂 Will stay again.
