The property was old and musty. It needs to be renovated ASAP. There is no ice on the floor. The ice is in the refrigerator and I had to wait 1 hour before I got it. By that time, I no longer needed the ice. I will not stay there again.

I enjoyed staying at the Candlewood Suites. It was an actual suite with a full regrigerator and cooktop! Bed was comfortable. A quiet area, there are a few restaurants and a Walmart just down the street.

Wasn't thrilled about the fact that the door was warped enough that you had to put your body weight against it and shove to get it to close.The bathroom sink light fixture never worked, and the general condition of the building wasn't esthetically pleasing. However, the coffee available almost 24 hrs, the complimentary laundry, friendliness of the staff, and location of the hotel almost made up for it. Would I stay here again? Yes, at the right price. FYI there are competing hotels chains right around the corner so do your due diligence re cost.

Employees constantly had an attitude. I was there for two weeks, not once did house keeping come to check on me if I needed anything like clean sheets, clean towels, not even take out the trash. My original room had an odor to it, I called about this and the employee just said “what do you want me to do about it” I told her to give me a new room, she accommodated me and the new room had dishes, pots and pans in the dish washer but had not been ran, dish washer was not working properly so I had to clean all of those by hand, all around I believe this is less than a 1 star rating, completely horrible customer service at this location.

Polite Staff…Rooms need improvement!!!
So the hotel is older so it needs a lot of work but the bed was clean and comfortable. However I did see a small roach in the bathroom sink and the trash can was dirty under the trash bag! When I took a shower the water was filling up and draining very slow and I hate that! The customer service was very good though I will give them that! Very polite staff!!!

Did a reservation for a studio suit. When I got there to check they claim they didn’t see my reservation from Expedia. Then turn around and gave me a regular room that didn’t have a couch as the one I was shown before I even made the reservation

We ordered a walk in shower room with adjoining room for our widow friend. They put us in room with tub and no adjoining. At 10 pm went to desk and very nice desk clerk went to quiet down very loud guests above us. At midnight the loud music finally stopped and we could rest.

When we walked into our room the floor was dirty. Bathroom floor was dirty, wall by the bed had brown clumps of something on it, it also looked like the door had been busted through you could tell the door was bowed and see light all around the door frame. We will not be staying at this hotel again.

Easy check-in however I was told there was no fee for my dogs (one emotional support, one’ in-training’). However, after I checked out (with my dogs in tow) and had reached my car the desk clerk called to tell me there is a fee for pets ($25 pet/per night). I went back inside and paid for the one in training (no paperwork/certification). Nice rooms. I was told I could call down for a pre-packaged breakfast sandwich, side and beverage that they’d deliver to the room BUT their order hasn’t come in so there wasn’t much to choose from (I passed). Other than the hassle over the dogs my stay was very good but I will make sure any discussions about fees are documented on my check-in record!

We have stayed here a dozen of times but since the first time the cleanliness has been diminishing. The last couple of times we stayed the staff walked in without knocking in the morning. It almost feels like they are rushing you out by 9 am. This last time the tables were dirty and ants were everywhere. Plus we loved doing laundry during our workout at the gym but apparently that burned down or something, it was closed. Sad to say but I think that was our last stay at this hotel

covid has hit this hotel hard, but they are doing as best they can. saw only one other guest, and he was not wearing a mask. desk attendant was not wearing mask, but was behind a desk shield. room was clean, but no soap or spare roll of tissue. kleenex works. came and went through end door using room pass. I appreciate the overall effort. stayed at candlewood about 12 times this year. wont go back to Auburn because the desk clerk, a young lady, was so extrondinarly rude. the young man who has been on duty at least five of my stays is absolutely professional, even recognized me on sight. the girl was so bad i just canceled on the spot and drove on to montgomery cw, which was great. the cw pet policy is a deciding factor for me, so i plan trips around cw locations.

The receptionist, Rachel, was exceptionally courteous. The room temp control worked well and the beds were very comfortable. We recommend this hotel without reservation!

Good stay, but coulda been better
First room provided was not cleaned from previous tenant. Wet towels on floor, un-made bed,…room was filthy. They promptly apologized and provided us a new room. All was fine until returning to room after dinner to find a/c unit underperforming….temps reaching 98-99 degrees outside on these days…ya kinda need that a/c to be working right. They again apologized but did not have another room to provide, so we had to manage with this one…fortunately, it worked well enough to get a decent nights sleep. Overall, I am still pleased with what we ended up with, and would stay again….just wish the a/c worked 100% rather than 70%.
