comfortabel hotel met zwembad vlakbij het strand.
Leuke en schone kamer, met goed bed en een balcon met uitzicht op zee. s'nachts met de deur open geslapen, zodat je de branding goed kon horen. Badkamer mooi, schoon en regendouche. Schoon beddengoed en schone badlakens, zoveel als je er wilde hebben, ook voor het zwembad. Bewaking bij het zwembad, mooie ligstoelen en ligweiden rond het zwembad en het hotel, met leuke rieten parasols. Goed ontbijtbuffet in een "vintage" restaurant, eveneens lunch en dinerbuffet mogelijk. Prachtige omgeving met bewaakt zandstrand vlakbij. Ook leuke en soms uitdagende wandelroutes in de omgeving. Voor niet zonaanbidders zoals wij is een huurauto wel aan te bevelen, want het dorp Sant Tomas is een echt vakantiedorp, zonder lokale bewoners en in het voor- en naseizoen dus erg rustig. Met een huurauto kun je het hele eiland overtrekken en dat is erg mooi en leuk om te doen.

Een heel zonnig hotel met uitstekende buffetten
Een echte aanrader dit hotel, direct aan het strand. De buffetten zijn ongekend uitgebreid en super lekker. Het hotel, maar ook het eiland is uiterst Schoon. Geen afval op straat of strand. Een voorbeeld ! Heb al veel gereisd maar dit heb ik niet eerder meegemaakt.

While the property is stunning, the service left much to be desired. The concierge was amazing when in person, but when we called them from the road to make a request and they were with someone else, they never called us back. We had to call 3 times about the temperature in our room being so hot and humid - and they said all was working properly when they finally came to look at it - and there was no way all was okay. We were so hot we couldn’t even use the blow dryers to do our hair. Everyone was so kind, but we just found service to be a bit slow overall. Lots of flies and bugs and nothing was being done to help. They leave the doors open in the gym so it was sweltering hot and filled with flies. Light some coffee grinds or flames to keep the critters at bay!

Most overpriced hotel.
The hotel was new and clean. However, for the price we paid, around $1,500 per night, it was not worth it. Our room, a suite, had a balcony where other people could walk by. No privacy. The room itself was fine but not that big and reminded me of a nice Hilton Hotel. We had thought that the hotel had a private beach where you could get towels and have food service brought to you. normal for a so called 5 star hotel. unfortunately there are NO private beaches in Menorca and the actual beaches next to this hotel were filled with people and very, very rocky. there was no hotel service at the beach at all. If I had known this I would never have stayed. So we asked about getting a boat to take us to more secluded beaches. Unfortunately the concierge informed us that no boats were available. Terrible! I actually called down from our room to talk to the hotel manager and the girl who spoke to me said the manager would call me back. He never did. Poor management. The room we had should of cost around $500 per night. We paid $1,500 per night and got no beach, average rooms with no privacy, no boat, and average service. So when I think about this hotel I would say that if you know about what it has and does NOT have, you might be willing to pay around 30% to 40% of the price they are asking for each room. Needless to say, we will never go back, unless the price is one third of what they charged us.

This is the newest hotel in the Island, located directly on the beach. It is very comfortable and the staff is very friendly. The food still needs some improvement-, but the hotel has enormous potential, thanks to its facilities and to the welcoming staff.

Perfect location if you are looking for a Hotel on the beach. Hotel was really good with friendly staff. Nice clean rooms. The only issue we had with the hotel was the food which could use some flavour.

Cet hôtel est superbe, avec un panorama à couper le souffle. Établissement est très propre avec les gestes sanitaires mis en place. Personnels très accueillants sans oublier les buffets du petit déjeuné au dîner juste parfaits Diversités et goûts sont au rendez vous. j’ai adoré ce séjour aussi pour son calme respecté de tous et pour l’ambiance musicale très soft en soirée. Das Zimmer war nicht sauber und es hat sehr übel gerochen. Im Badzimmer Das Abend Buffet war nicht sehr endsprechend. Jeden tage das gleich Angebot.Eine ganze Woche Zum Glück gab es Salat. Sonst die Lage ist sehr schön. Auch die Aussicht vom Zimmer war top

This is classed as a Melia hotel but what they have done to it in a shabby/chic way has reduced it to a second rate motel. Food was very poorly cooked and generally tasteless and cold ... flies everywhere... restaurant had the look of a works canteen .. waiting staff very surly. We had a good room with a balcony/verandah you could have a barn dance on.... lovely ocean view. Bar drinks we thought quite pricey so we spent most of our luncheons and evenings in the hotel next door which was cheaper and a lot more comfortable . There was so much ‘wickerwork’ in the Sol Beach House I’m surprised they didn’t convert the toilets too. Generally we thought the decor to be dated shabby and poor.

Die Unterkunft liegt wunderschön auf einer kleinen Landzunge direkt am Meer. Jeden Abend konnten wir beim Essen einen fantastischen Sonnenuntergang beobachten. Die Zimmer sind hell und gut eingerichtet. Die Sauberkeit der Zimmer war tipp topp. Der Essensbereich war sehr großzügig eingerichtet. Man hat ausreichend Platz und auch die Möglichkeit, draußen zu essen. Das Essen selbst war okay. Bei der Buffetform hat man immer den Nachteil, dass das Essen über längere Zeit warm gehalten werden muss und dann eben nicht mehr richtig heiß ist. Ansonsten war die Auswahl reichlich und es gab sehr viele landestypische Gerichte. Der Strand war ca. 50 Meter weit weg, die kostenpflichtigen Liegen und Sonnenschirme ca. 100 Meter. Der Strand war feinsandig und das Wasser des Meeres kristallklar. Alles in allem war dieser Urlaub Erholung pur!

Generell top Lage, nettes Personal etc. Wasserkocher und Kaffee/Tee auf dem Zimmer haben uns gefehlt, ansonsten alles gut. Die Extragebühren für die Poolhandtücher sind auch etwas nervig, aber kein Beinbruch. In der Umgebung gibt es viele kostenlose Parkplätze, somit ist man nicht auf die überteuerten Stellplätze des Hotels angewiesen. Alles in allem ein gelungener Aufenthalt.

La posizione è ideale per una vacanza rilassante. La spiaggia adiacente è comoda, fruibile e i colori del mare sono fantastici. Struttuta molto curata, come l'amviente circostante. Animazione discreta, mai invadente. Tutto il Personale è accogliente e sollecito. Tornerei molto volentieri

Amazing beach resort with all comforts! We had a lovely room with sea view which was just perfect! The beach next to the hotel is easily accessible and stunning! Pour moi l’hotel est superbe J’ai eu deux petites déceptions... la première est le fait de devoir payer les bouteilles d’eau à table... je trouve que l’eau pourrait être mis à disposition gratuitement ( carafe d’eau) et faire payer si on veut consommer soft ou alcool Le deuxième était que notre air conditionné était situé à l’entree De la chambre et non près des lits... il faisait donc extrêmement chaud ( nous avons vérifié, ce n’est pas le cas dans toutes les chambres). Pour le reste, la nourriture est très bonne et l’hotel Très propre! Le personnel y est charmant

Lovely clean hotel with comfortable rooms, good pool and great buffet breakfast. Staff are friendly/helpful but some more than others. If only the clientele would respect the hotels request to not reserve the sun beds! I do feel the hotel could be more forthcoming in enforcing it as it was unfair on others who were actually there. I witnessed beds being “reserved” by people leaving their towels on the bed and then going off for a few hours. Overall it was a pleasant stay, easy access to the beach and a quiet resort.
