'This is a stunning, beautifully decorated, well stocked house with a view and an incredible river access point. We spent the days just lounging about in the river chatting with the occasional kayaker who passed by, sitting by the firepit at night, and playing games on the beautiful screened-in porch. Two fridges, games in the basement, easy water access - might be one of the best VRBO rentals we've ever had. Already planning on booking again for next year.'

'This is a lovely home set far back on a country Road. It sits in the middle of the forest and then you can see the Potomac river below you from the deck. We thoroughly enjoyed using our Merlin app to document all of the birds that we were hearing. There were Baltimore orioles, fluttering about. It was very comfortable and the perfect place for a bunch of bird lovers!'

'Overall a good stay at a newer property. The biggest issue was definitely the lack of window coverings. Many of the windows have none. And even those that do, the coverings are very thin and don't block light at all. No opportunity to take a decent nap, and come summer it would be awful with how early the sun rises. 'Our family rented this property over a holiday weekend to gather and celebrate Easter. The property is spacious with a nice backyard area. The property was very clean and looked exactly as it does in the pictures. It is located in downtown Hagerstown and easy to find. The owner was very communicative and pleasant and we really enjoyed our stay!'

The host did provide kitchen essentials, towels, tooth brushes and extra bedding, all if needed. Quite neighborhood. And overall great place If you have multiple guest in your booking. 'We really enjoyed the property. It was clean. Internet worked well. Washer and dryer was nice. Too cold to enjoy the hot tub for me. My suggestions are a new shower head, thank goodness I didn’t have to wash my hair. The flow is too spread out and not enough to efficiently rinse as you shower. Second is a cheaper Kcup machine would be nice. Traveling with ground coffee is not really ideal for a quick trip away. Third thing I suggest is two beach towels (minimum) for the use of the hot tub. 'I surprised my partner with a weekend getaway for his birthday to this little cabin. Even though it rained all weekend, we loved every second here. The covered/screened in porch made it still possible to sit outside, and the view waking up in the morning was just so pretty. The super long driveway was nice to take a walk down as well. Perfect place to unwind. It was clean, and comfortable.'
