The check in process was easy, friendly front desk / valet parking staff. The apartment was absolutely gorgeous, clean and fully equipped. The building and common areas were in very good shape. I definitely recommend this place. The Miami Vacations staff were also very professional. 10 out of 10 I'll book again soon.

We have stayed at the Monte Carlo several times over the years. The property overall is beautiful and right on the beach with a Publix grocery store a short walk away. The units are individually owned and this is where the big difference comes in. The one we stayed at this time was owned by Miami Vacations. It was spacious and had nice partial ocean views. However, there was black mold in the shower, the sofa bed was very uncomfortable with a hard bar running down the middle and there were not enough supplies for our stay. For example no dish towels are provided, just one small single ply roll of paper towel for a 10 day stay. The supplies were so minimal it seemed they don’t expect you to use the kitchen or the bathroom and you are responsible for your own replenishments. The part that bothered me the most was we requested additional bedding and pillows on our first night to try and make the sofa bed more comfortable (we are a family of 4 so two people had to sleep on it). They said no, we counted the bedding in that room and you have enough. We had to go out and buy a large comforter to sleep on top of, to make that bed less terrible. The dishwasher stopped working after a few days. A little bit of effort from the owners to accommodate guests would go a long way. The rest of the property is well taken care of and beautiful with two pools and a nice gym. The beach comes with chairs and umbrellas for guests. We might stay here again but not in units owned by Miami vacations.

The property and rooms were very nice. I had the full ocean view room and it was beautiful. I did find a good bit of some small bugs some alive and some dead. I feel they should bomb the units on occasions. Very homey vibe which I liked. Minus the bugs, I would still stay here again. I do wish they had faster communication via email. In addition I asked for white wine in advance and I got red. I had the VIP option and I was unable to fully use which was disappointing. I never even opened the red wine.

The hotel room pictures were misleading. The room was advertised as having a partial sea view, but the reality was quite different. Instead of the beautiful view shown in the pictures, we faced the building next door throughout our stay. If you leaned over the balcony and looked to the right, you could catch a glimpse of the sea, but that was about it. I recommend the hotel to post the actual pictures of the room that the customer is booking to avoid confusion. The more significant problem was that the next-door neighbor's balcony was incredibly close to ours, which made the situation awkward. Imagine walking out on the balcony, and two people are staring at you, closer than a hug's distance. It was beyond uncomfortable. Every time we were there, they were there. We could hear their conversations, and they could hear ours. Privacy fence anyone? The hotel staff was something else! We were extremely dissatisfied with their service, they literally ruined the vacation. It wasn't just bad customer service, it was non-existent. I have received better customer service at international customs but no joking. Don’t get me wrong; we weren’t expecting them to have a heartfelt communication with us, but a smile, a welcome or a bye! Nothing! You just get stared down I swear I had better service at an international customs, but no joking I would not recommend this hotel, until at least they get better customer service so you don’t go to sleep thinking the front desk will blow the place up

This is one of the old original hotels built in North Miami Beach during the late 1940s. It has been updated nicely and was pleasant to stay in. There are restaurants and a grocery store close by and it sits on the pedestrian walk along the beach. The location utilized modern security measures for entry and elevator access to the residential floors. I would stay here again.

This place is a paradise on earth. We enjoyed every second spent here. The apartment was huge with two smart TVs, a balcony, and all kitchen appliances. The hotel is clean, featuring two amazing pools—one large and great for swimming, and the other smaller one right next to a hot tub for cooling off. The only downside is that the area around the hotel doesn't offer many food options. However, our room was so nice that we didn't really want to go out much. I usually don’t like to go to the same place twice but I will definitely go to this place again.

Customer service is horrible. Staff is constantly on their cell phones. Receptionist was busy eating when I greeted her in the morning and was told by her that she didn’t bother greeting since she had a mouth full. Ma’am aren’t you suppose to be working? Don’t stay here if you appreciate hospitality. The guests are their last priority here. The place is beautiful so it’s unfortunate we can’t recommend this place to friends and family. Expedia please warn people before they book or take them off your list.

The property is advertised as 2017 built. That has to be incorrect. It is old, the pool area is very run down and the condo had inadequate supplies for a one week stay with a notice saying don’t call us for supplies (eg toilet paper). The gym had a time restriction and no more than 4 people total. There is no housekeeping for a one week stay. The ad said self park, it’s only valet. Too many issues. I left within an hour and went to another hotel.

Dear Guest, all the accusations are false. First of all there it’s no sign in the apartment that saying do not call us for supplies and even thought we are not obligated to supply you with amenities for the whole stay we leave for FREE toilet papel, shampoo, conditioner, soap, papel towel, dishes sponge, detergent pods for laundry, pods for the dishwasher, nespresso coffee capsules, sugar, tea, water, snacks, etc. We have photos of the apartments before our guest check in with proof of everything we provide all of our guests. Regarding the housekeeping its not advertised since we are not a hotel, we rent fully furnished apartments so we do not know why you were expecting a daily cleaning service. When you enter the apartment you complaint about being too sensitive to noise and that was the reason you wanted to leave, then you complaint about the AC not working (which was false) the gym that was first come first serve (its like that in all of the gyms in the world if not we would have to have one gym per guest) and you also complaint about the pool being closed and it was not true, the pool was working perfectly however it opens and closes certain hours. The property was in a great, not-so busy area of Miami Beach 1 block from Walgreens and a nice big grocery store. Valet parking was a part of the fee but your guest must Zelle $20 (or cash). They charge $5 to receive any packages - my luggage broke so I had to buy a new one on Amazon. I loved the gym, gameroom, balcony and mattress. Lots of extra towels, blankets, toilet paper, trash bags, dish detergent and laundry detergent so they cater to more people seeking a real apartment experience. There is no room service at all - no one to clean, add or remove anything during your stay. You must dispose of your own trash and full washer and dryer. The wrist band is for the beach chairs and umbrellas. There are 2 pools - quiet pool on the first floor and more family friendly on the 5th floor with a large hot tub. You must use a special key fob to access any elevator, Beach door, etc. lots of free water, coffee and snacks in the room. 3 elevators. I was very disappointed in the WiFi - very spotty and never consistent even with the 9 hotspots they offered. Also, I could never get consistent hot water which was so unfortunate. The shower head and spa hot tub on 5th floor had rust. The patio furniture in the room is very squeaky so you will hear your neighbors moving around when you’re inside. They are strict (and aggressive) on 11am check-out. They knocked on door at 11:02am, called my room and personal phone from 11:03-11:10. I checked out at 11:15am geez. No grace period.
