Staff not very concerned for guests; asked for ice and customer service was like “oh it’s over there” and kept on with their task.. room not too clean as we found two roaches and bed was broken, also water doesn’t get too hot, sink is far from bathroom, had to walk through a restaurant to get to room, shower leaked water into bathroom floor due to lack of rubber seal. Overall it was quiet and safe feeling.

Para empezar en la recepción te atienden y te mandan a la habitación por otro lado que es un restaurante que tienes que pasar cuando y donde los comensales están eso ya es terrible el servicio de cuarto pésimo las instalaciones en las habitaciones muy mal el lugar no es lo que te venden en Expedia y para variar te piden un pago de una garantía que nunca te la devuelven o bueno en mi caso nunca me la devolvieron y tampoco nunca contestaron el teléfono para descolgado para todo de verdad que ese lugar deja muy mal a la app de Expedia

The property was clean. The on-site restaurant was very clean and the food did not disappoint! The rooms are outdated & need some repairs. My biggest complaint: We arrived very late to check in and requested alatr checkout time of 12. This would have only been one hour past the normail chekout time. The lady behind the counter was extremely rude & was already telling no before we ever had a chance to ask. For one hour extention she wanted to charge us for another day. Poor, poor customer service.

Buen servicio y buena ubicacion, te dan cocteles de bienvenida. El restaurante del hotel muy bueno. Buena relacion calidad-precio. Lo q no nos gustó es que el hotel no tiene en donde guardarte el equipaje antes del check-in o despues del check-out.

Nightmare scenario upon check in — I was asked to pay an additional 1/3 of the entire hotel price when checking in, as the hotel claimed that Expedia did not pay a “convenience fee“ and a “resort fee.“. I refused to pay the requested amount as I produced two confirmations from Expedia that I had “paid in full.” The hotel refused to let me check in, so I was forced to spend the next 2 1/2 hours in a freezing hotel lobby on the phone to several Expedia customer service agents, acting as the middleman in this payment dispute between Oceanside and Expedia. During this time, the hotel clerk refused to allow me to check in, despite the fact that I had just landed from London and it was between 1 AM and 3:30 AM my time this fiasco played out. In the end, I had to pay the additional amounts, but persuaded Expedia to reimburse me, Oceanside never lifted a finger throughout the entire fiasco and continue to refuse to let me check in despite the fact that I had paid the amount to Expedia in full. Expedia is certainly to blame here as well. As for the property, the hotel is one of the lesser options in Miami Beach and despite the cheaper price is still not good value. I also saw at least five insects in my room.

Walkable to the beach. If you arrive early they do not have a suitcase storage some people were comfortable leaving it in the lobby. Their restaurant food is very good.

We stayed in a suite , the property was nice! Really enjoyed the bar on property the staff was very inviting and interactive. The drinks and food were good, I would stay here again. The beach was nearby , a Walgreens was about a 5 minute walk from the hotel, a free trolley stops right outside the bar and takes you up and down the strip. Wish we would’ve thought to use it for our Walgreens trip but we found out about the trolley being free later in the day. There were other shops, restaurants and bars nearby.

Hotel room was cleaned but they never put toiletries so I had to keep going down to front desk to ask them for toiletries which was annoying. Otherwise, it was great.

There’s no parking so you have to park down the street - but that’s not the worst of it. When you walk into the building you’re basically punched in the face with the smell of urine and lemon grass essential oils to try to mask the smell. The halls smell like someone peed all over them. When you go in the room it doesn’t look that bad but the couch is literally deteriorating and when you sit on it the fake leather gets all over you. And then at night COCKROACHES started crawling out of the coffee maker and toaster. The toilet wasn’t cleaned around the base at all and looked like there were poop stains. If it wasn’t so late, I would have just packed up and went somewhere else. Literally anywhere else. I can’t believe this is rated so high on Expedia. I’m blown away by this whole experience and I’m hoping the smells don’t stick to me and my things as we leave first thing in the morning.

I liked that it was across the street from the beach. Didn’t like that there was no on sight parking. it’s a very busy area so parking is very difficult

This hotel is good for the price. All staff members was nice, the room was clean. It had a happy hour of drinks free, pretty nice . The only con is : no parking included. We have to park by the street or parking lots. In gerenal this hotel worths a lot if you're trying to save in your travel.
