Great house!
House had lots of room for the group to be together or separately. The veiw from the upper sitting areas was beautiful. Kitchen was well equipped which made it easy to cook for a large group. Would definitely come back.

Perfect location!
Just stayed for a girls trip for the weekend and this home was beautiful and spacious and so clean. The cottage on the property was an extra bonus and absolutely adorable. Not only was the home perfect but the location truly cannot be beat. With views of the ocean and 5 minute drive to downtown Newport, it was the perfect spot! Outstanding Property in Middletown, R.I.
From start to finish, our family of nine could not have had a more enjoyable stay at a lovelier place. The owner of this delightful home was as welcoming and accommodating as could be, and we had every amenity available to us that we could want. The house was immaculate and beautifully appointed!!! We hope to be able to return someday again before too long. A million thanks again to the owner, who has now become a friend, for making our stay so very enjoyable and memorable!!!

Great house in a great location!
We loved staying here. The location can't be beat - a few minute walk to the beach, a few minute drive to the piers or mansions in Newport, and a great neighborhood for a morning walk. The house was amazing - clean, wonderfully decorated, and spacious. The balconies on the 2nd and 3rd floor have a great view of the beach and the sunset, and the hot tub on the 3rd floor was a big hit. The beds and couches were comfy and we had lots of room to spread out. The kitchen was huge and well appointed. There was a nice picnic table outside and a small yard in the back to run around. We didn't take advantage of the grill or the guest cottage, but they both looked great too.

Relaxing and Gorgeous
I stayed with a group of friends at this location for a girls' weekend. The view was gorgeous and the home exceeded our expectations. We enjoyed being outside and the quick walk to the beach. The home had comfortable beds, a well-stocked kitchen, and the best main suite I have ever seen!

Six of us celebrated 30 years of friendship with a Girls Trip to Newport, RI. We found this house on VBRO and it did not disappoint. Plenty of space. Plenty of parking. Less than 10 min to mansions / downtown Newport. Nice water views. Clean. Quick responses from the owner. We were thrilled and would highly recommend!!

Amazing location and beautiful home!
My family and I stayed at this property for a week in August. It was super clean, beautifully decorated (and well stocked with necessary items) and had great bedroom and bathroom arrangements. Madeline was lovely and when we had an issue with the clothes dryer she came over and dried our laundry at the laundromat for us! She was incredibly responsive and went above and beyond to ensure our vacation was unimpacted by the inconvenience. The kitchen was excellent and the bird from the balconies were amazing. Would 100% recommend this property!

Amazing Experience
The house was everything we imagined and more! It is so close to the water, cliff walk and the views from the top deck is amazing! The house and the cottage were very clean and had additional supplies if needed, house was stocked. Communication with the host was great; quick responses and check in was seamless. Girls weekend away

We had a group of 10 staying at the property. We had plenty of room for everyone. The location says it sleeps 10 but I feel it could comfortably handle more. Beautiful house with great views and easy access to get to downtown Newport or any of the surrounding golf courses.

70th Birthday Celebration
Madelines home was beautiful. Good location, fantastic views, and tons of space. There was a strong smell in the house and cottage - possibly polyurethane or maybe just really needed to be aired out after the winter! If you have folks in your party who are sensitive to smells, be prepared to have the windows open! Other than that, we had a great time and would stay again.

Home away from home for a family wedding
Enjoyed the expansive, comfortable, quiet home where our family could gather for a wedding weekend - the venue was only a 10 minute drive away. Enjoyed the front porch, walking through the neighborhood, and gathering in the dining room for games and conversation. The owner was a great communicator and everything worked out perfect.

We are two families with teens and had the most amazing time at the house! Location is perfect for beaches, shopping/ eating in Newport,. Can bike to great beaches. Can run out to Sachuest Point or to Ocean Drive- gorgeous views from house and al over the place. Highly recommend!

Excellent property
We have stayed at many properties and this home was by far the cleanest. The home had plenty of room for all of us and the front porch and balconies overlooking the water were spectacular. The location made for an easy walk to the beach and to the cliff walk. We also enjoyed walks in the beautiful neighborhood. Madeline was easy to reach and quick to respond when the internet went out . We highly recommend this property and will absolutely stay here again.

Delightful Escape
This home was perfect for a girls weekend getaway. It was impeccably clean and had all of the amenities you could possibly need. Short walk to coffee, pizza and beach. And short Uber to Newport. Perfectly delightful.

Great house close to downtown Newport
We absolutely LOVED our stay here! The house was absolutely beautiful and had gorgeous views of the water and the cliff walk. We walked to the cliff walk from the house and it was about a 10 minute drive to downtown Newport! The house was more than spacious for the 11 of us. We loved the open kitchen and dining room where we cooked breakfast and hung out. The neighborhood is great too! Highly recommend!

House with A View
This property has beautiful views on all floors. It is spacious and excellent for a large family or groups. The master suite on the third floor has a lovely sitting room overlooking the water as does one of the bedrooms on the second floor. The owners stocked the house with everything you could think of to enjoy a week at the beach including beach chairs, umbrellas, a buggy to walk to the beach as well as games. It is an 11 minute walk to a part of First Beach and thirty minute walk (8 minute) bike ride to Second Beach. The decor is nice but dated and the bed in the master suite is incredibly soft. The TV downstairs did not work. Madeline was responsive and offered to come see what was wrong but we declined to limit people in the house due to Covid. Overall it’s a great property for large groups of people who want to have separation and have a great view of the water.

Family fun
We had a great week in spite of COVID! The property is immaculate and very up to date. It’s a beautiful family neighborhood - nice and quiet. A short walk to the beach. The beach “ trolley” and chairs are such a plus. We enjoyed bbq’ing and eating at local restaurants.

We came to this excellent location from distant California and nearby Connecticut, five adults and a five year-old boy. We juggled schedules to gather for a needed family vacation.. We loved this beautiful beach home. The top floor master suite is particularly lovely. We had a large group coming to stay, but half ended up heading home rather than spending the night so we didn't get to use the separate cottage. Our only complaint is that one of the "beds" was a futon, but other than that, this is a sparkling clean home with a beautiful view and a great location

Amazing weekend!
A few friends and I rented this house for a wedding we had nearby in Newport. It was the perfect setting for a relaxing weekend! Everyone was comfortable in their respective rooms and there was plenty of shared common space for group hangs. A 5 min walk to the beach was the cherry on top! Perfect weekend getaway
I was extremely impressed when my group and I showed up to this beautiful home. We were there for a girl's weekend and the house could not have been more perfect for our group and for the location. The house was VERY clean and there was plenty of space for each guest. It was a short walk to Easton's beach and a perfect location to the downtown area. Madeline was easy to communicate with and very accommodating. I would absolutely recommend staying in this gorgeous home if you're looking for a Newport getaway! I sure hope to stay here again if I travel back to Newport!

Fabulous vacation!
My family had an absolutely fabulous vacation at 182 Tuckerman ave. in Middletown! The house was perfect!! We had plenty of space for everyone (8 of us) as well as a beautiful yard and nice view of the water. Madeline was wonderful to work with! In fact, one member of our party lost his wallet. We thought perhaps he had lost it in an uber but I asked Madeline to keep an eye out for it. She found it, and mailed it back to us immediately. I would highly recommend this property and look forward to going back again!

GREAT Visit!
This is a beautiful house with tons of space and awesome views of the water from upstairs. Perfect location in a beautiful neighborhood with easy access to multiple beaches and downtown Newport. We would definitely recommend this house to any bigger groups looking to visit the Newport area.

Beautiful house as described and excellent communication with owner
We stayed at this house with a group of 5 couples and had the most wonderful weekend! The house is beautiful as described, super spacious, with many amenities and updated appliances and furnishings. Very close to all the splendors of Newport and right by the ocean. Our communication with Madeline was so easy and she was very helpful - getting us an iron when we needed one, shoveling and salting the driveway after it snowed, and leaving wine and New Years Eve horns for our celebrations. Next time we come to Newport we would love to stay again! Thanks, Madeline!
