'We were impressed when we walked into the cabin with how clean it was. It also had everything we might have needed. That king bed is the most comfortable thing I have ever slept in, though I am pretty short and could have used a step-stool to get into it. LOL. The front porch was wonderful to sit on and enjoy the birds singing. It was nice to have the grill to cook our dinners on. Overall, I highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a great place to relax!'

'We enjoyed the quiet and remote features of this private Lansing oasis. Unfortunately while the gas fireplace wasn't working, we were able to run into town and buy wood for the wood burning stove. Definitely recommend for a winter getaway and know the gas fireplace will be repaired soon. Property manager was quick to respond and contact the appropriate maintenance staff. 'Very nice property, nice to have 2 separate bed/bath for 2 couples. Nice big common spaces with small kitchen and small bathroom upstairs. Wouldn’t plan to do large meals in the kitchen but perfect for breakfast prep. The owners are AMAZING and very responsive. Couldn’t ask for more. We VERY much enjoyed the central location. It was a lovely weekend with friends.'

'My wife, our adult son, and our cocker spaniel stayed here over a weekend. We had an event in Blowing Rock on Saturday and it was super convenient to get in town or to the Blue Ridge Parkway. The house was well stocked and had everything we needed. The Food Lion was minutes away, but we felt like we were in the mountains. It was a bit cold, but we used the outdoor grill and would have enjoyed sitting on the porch during warmer weather. Plenty of seating, a great kitchen table for board games...

Fishing was so so for the first few days, then it was stocked the last day which improved the fishing. We were catch and released so there should be some for the next guy. Would go back'
