'This condo is a real gem on the Molokai shores ! It is beautifully decorated, very complete and spacious with a seperate bedroom and a good bed. The views from the lanai are absolutely breathtaking, we watched them over and over again. Molokai shores are very centrally located on the island, we visited several quiet beaches, kayak rentals were very close for a beautiful sunrise tour. 'We were drawn to the west side of Moloka'i for its remoteness, yet it's only about 35 minutes from the airport. The description was accurate; Remote and Private. Ocean view. The area offers wonderful beach strolls including the nearly 3 mile long Papohaku Beach. Relatively quiet and adjacent to the now long-time closed Sheraton Hotel that offers a ghost town feel. Interesting history there. The condo at Maunaloa is well-seasoned, clean, and just fine. It offered what we needed.'

'Great location for convenient access to all island activities, very relaxing compound. A few minor issues: 1. The inside temperature was 87 degrees and very stuffy upon arrival despite outside highs being only 78-80 degrees. By opening all doors and windows, maxing all fans and buying a couple more at hardware store to donate to the home we were able to cool the place down to 76-78 degrees overnight but then had to close all window shades through daytime hours to maintain marginal comfort. 2....

'Condo has a great view from the balcony. We saw multiple whales just outside the reef. The property is well maintained with nicely kept grounds, well maintained swimming pool, and user friendly barbecue area. Be prepared for the roosters (not as loud as Kauai) and a bit of road noise in the early morning hours. The bathrooms were roomy and clean and had an abundance of hot water.'

'Location is great for a busy weekend of activities around town. Seemed like there were several others from off island staying there too. The pool was popular with youngsters all day. A bit noisy as the room was located adjacent to the pool. Otherwise it was just what was needed by our group being on the ground floor.'
