'This was our second time staying at River Haven. This is the perfect spot for our annual MTB trip.BV trails are just a few miles away and Salida's trails are about 25min. The hot tub and fire chimenea down by the river are some highlights. We hope to be back next year again. Thanks!'

'This is a precious little historical home with loads of charm. It has obviously had a lot of work put in. We stayed in Salida and drove to monarch to ski. The house is so close to parks and Main Street - easy to walk to everything. It’s dog friendly so the back yard is completely fenced in. Just something to keep in mind - the backyard doesn’t have direct access from the house. You have to go out a side door and through the gate. Wasn’t a huge deal, we just had to walk her out. 'This the perfect place for a family vacation in the middle of the beautiful Collegiate peaks. The cabin was wonderful for large gatherings. We comfortably slept 9 adults with room for more. It was very clean and right in the middle of fishing, white water rafting, hiking trails and very close to snow skiing. We couldn’t have asked for a better place. The owner was so responsive with ideas for groceries, restaurants and hiking trails. We had a wonderful time.'

'This property was an excellent choice for our whole extended family who came to town for a ski week at Monarch. The place has plenty of spaces for everyone to sleep and the separate suite was great for my in-laws to be able to have a bit more quiet while the rest of the kids (ages 7-13) ran around the main house. We have stayed here before with other friends and we are very likely to be back again!'

'We had a great time at this house! The furniture inside supports a nice Mid-century look which works well for the renovation style. Lovely back patio with plenty of space. Nice fenced back yard for the dogs to safely romp. No real road noise concerns, even for the room in front of the house. We would definitely rent this house again!'
