'We were very happy with how easy it was to get to this location, the cleanliness of the place and the comfort of the bed and pillows! An amazing bang for your buck as the hotel rooms down the street were $300/night more....without a kitchen! Easy to get to Monterey and Carmel without the congestion of the towns. We also went kayaking at the Elkhorn Slough...about a 10 min drive!! We will be back, without a doubt!!!'

The apartment was beautiful, welcoming and very comfortably accommodated our immediate and extended family members to be a central hub to hang out the entire duration of our stay. 'Second time at Carmel woods location. Enjoyable. Weather was challenging with wind and rain. I was there as a volunteer for the Pebble Beach AT&T. Electricity went off in the area for at least 24 hours - tournament was called.'

'This unit is small but quite suitable for a couple/individual. It's very close to Lover's Point and the Ocean Blvd walking path. We walked over to Lighthouse Ave Starbucks and enjoyed the beautiful historical homes along the way. We also walked to the Grove easily for supplies. The only problem for us was not enough heat. The portable heater was fine in the bedroom.'

'Where should I start! We booked for three weeks and we only received one set of towels. Really! The bottom sheet on the bed was the wrong size or depth and we ended up sleeping on the plastic mattress cover. I went out and bought a set of sheets! We have family in the area So we borrowed towels from them. The drain in the shower got clogged and the owner asked us to clean it out. Apparently it must happen all the time and he has done nothing to correct the problem. The draw that the silverware...

'We had an absolutely amazing stay! The house is very large, spacious and has spectacular views. It is very well furnished and decorated and the layout is perfect for large families or groups. The beds were all very comfortable and made with fine linens. The grounds are beautiful in a very private, peaceful and serene setting. 'It was a georgeous weekend in Monterey! We took the kids to the Aquarium, enjoyed the beach, walked through the Butterfly habitat all without jackets! The home was clean and well appointed. The kids loved the playground in the back yard, and the toys in the closet. The home is centrally located in a nice neighborhood with plenty of restaurants nearby. Would definitely return!'
