'I went there to propose to my now fiancé, the plan was for friends and family to arrive first and by the time I proposed on the mountain our friends to be waiting to surprise her. The staff was super accommodating with an early check in and the place was great, very large and ski on ski off from western territories. Highly recommend if you're there with a large group.'

'This is a very well maintained property in a perfect location. Only a few minutes walking distance to the slopes & the village, and sporting great views over the mountain ranges to the west. Everything is clean and functional, and the owners are quick to respond to any requests. They even left a nice stack of firewood in the garage, and a basket with goodies (including home-roasted coffee beans) for us to enjoy. 'Spent the long weekend skiing with a friend, my daughter, and her friends. The house was amazing. The bathrooms are brand new and the rooms were perfect. I liked the master on the first floor. The hot tub was a bonus but the lid had a poor design. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and appliances. We were disappointed the fireplace did not work. The shuttle to the ski mountains was superb and an absolute bonus. We would definitely stay again.'

'Lovely house! We had a ton of snow and it was difficult to get to the property. Luckily we had 4W drive, which is a must. The only thing lacking was coffee mugs. There were 5 which is inadequate for a house that sleeps 20, but otherwise it was well equipped and comfortable.'

'Great place for larger groups. Had great space for our group - including seating and fridge space. First time staying outside the core of the village. Only maybe a 7-10 minute walk to the village, just keep in mind the elevation change. Be sure to use the shuttle if you struggle with stairs.'

'Black Bear Lodge was a great location for a reunion of friends and family that have been skiing together for nearly forty years. We love Snowshoe and the lodge was exceptionally convenient to Cupp Run. We had 14 adults and two children and we were all comfortable. 'We absolutely loved our stay at the Dome Home! The house is stunning and so spacious. Harman was extremely informative and communicative. The town was a quick 2 minute drive or you could walk if you want. I 10/10 recommend this property for anyone considering. One of the best Vrbo rentals I’ve ever had!'

'Was able to walk to and from lifts even during spring low tide. At the top of Powder Monkey lift. Plenty in the cabin to keep the non-snowboarders and skiers busy. Good wifi if you have to work Plenty of cookware and dishes.'

'This was our 2nd time staying at this hidden gem. I don't think I've ever stayed at a cleaner cabin. Frank and Micki are absolutely the most hospitable hosts you can imagine. The cabin is furnished with all the amenities you might want while still retaining it's rustic charm and the feeling that you are "off the grid" a little bit. We look forward to returning. Thanks for another wonderful getaway.'
