We came to attend the Southeastern Wildlife Expo in Charleston which is dog friendly. This house was great for our pet, expecially the back yard. It is a 5-10 drive into Charleston and surrounded by groceries, shopping, and restaurants. Awesome Convenience!

Bachelor weekend spot
The house was exactly what was needed. A cool little spot with just enough amenities to keep a group of 7 comfortable. The backyard was definitely a high point. However this spot was all about the location, and the location could not have been better. Nothing in the Charleston area felt out of reach from this location we were able to fully explore different parts of the area on different days. The check in process was simple enough. Overall an efficient spot to enable you to get the most out of your stay in the Charleston area.

Great stay in Mount Pleasant!
Wonderful stay at this property. It was nice and cozy for 4 adults and 4 children. Backyard firepit was a great addition. Ran into an issue with the dryer not having heat and the property owner was really great about it. I would stay here again and would also recommend staying here for quick and easy access to Charleston, Isle of Palms and Folly Beach. Great central location!

Ideal location
We were in town for graduation at The Citadel. This was the best location for all our comings and goings. The fenced in yard was great for the dog and the house was very clean. Communication was easy and we didn’t have any issues.

Just Right!
Wonderful location for our needs. We needed a place that was pet friendly and this stay was perfect! Very clean, neat, and appointed. Very nice back yard, again, clean and neat with a huge private fence, just perfect for our pet. Within walking distance to bridge and Shem Creek. Short drive to downtown. Great location. Close to Charleston, Shem Creek , Patriots Point and great restaurants.
Loved the l close proximity to all the things above. Property pics showed a large sectional that was not there. Our group could not fit on what was there ! Two people had to sit in kitchen to be comfortable and could not see TV. The floors looked clean but it was cold in house on the weekend we were there and socks I had on were black on the bottom after a couple of hours. There where only 3 coffee mugs, 4 wine glasses and 2 glasses , other than kiddie plastic cups in the kitchen. A lot of the doors stuck and were hard to open and made a lot of noise opening and closing. The houses across the street looked abandoned. Minimal effort to make this place attractive! Walls and a lot of furniture needed painting! Can not recommend this house, other than location was awesome!

Close to Everything
Our group of 5, 2 grandparents, kids and grandson, were in town for the weekend. We loved being so close to downtown Charleston as well as the Shem Creek area. So many great restaurants and parks. The street was not well lit but we never felt unsafe. My only real criticism is that the myriad of fees ended up costing more than the accommodations.

Would Stay Here Again!
This rental was perfect for a few days in Charleston with our pups! The street was quiet yet super close to everything we needed in Mount Pleasant. The house was as described/shown in photos (except for the new couches, which I had seen mention of in a review) and very clean with exception of some dirt on the floors (which is understandable given floor type, pets tracking yard sand in, etc.). We cooked several times while there and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to do so. It’s also very helpful that the owners provide trash bags and a few dish and laundry tabs for guest use. And the welcome gift was such a nice touch! We had a wonderful stay and would definitely rent here again!

Coming from out of town, you never know where it'll be, but we could be in Charleston quickly, Touristy spots, Coffeeshops are only a few minutes away as are groceries and a ton of places to door dash if you wanted. Incredibly disappointed
Please know that the couch is absolutely disgusting and should really be replaced. Aside from the horrible stains it is incredibly uncomfortable due to how its been treated. Additionally the place is dirty so you should speak to your cleaning crew about doing a better job on the floors specifically, as I ended up with filthy feet after mistakenly walking thru the house barefoot. It was bad enough I took pics. I also cleaned up multiple bugs off the floor in the kitchen area. Unfortunately it was not an enjoyable stay for us, but we were enroute from TX as we have relocated here and we just dealt with it until we were able to leave once our moving truck showed up with our furniture.

You booked a pet friendly home. These are generally going to have signs of pets! We do have a new sofa in order and we do steam clean the sofa regularly but as noted pet friendly homes are always going to reflect the fact that pets have been in them. As for bugs. This aint Texas! Bugs are a fact of life as you’ll soon discover if you’re moving here. We treat all of our homes regularly for bugs but open the door at night… bugs will be coming on in. Leave it open for a minute… more bugs. They will die quickly because the homes treated for them but there’s no way to prevent bugs coming in to a home in the low country.

5-10 min from Meeting Street, and down town Charleston! Then after you've had a day of that back to Mt. Pleasant for dinner with a short ride back to the house. HIGHLY suggest Seacoast Church in Mt. Pleasant (just minutes from the house) if your there on a Sunday they have 3 services so you can even sleep in.

Nice location but home needs help
We loved the location of this home, decorations & amount of space! Beware when looking for a “pet friendly” home as this one has breed restrictions but does not let you know until after you’ve paid in full. The home had scuff marks all over the walls, an old & worsening roof leak in the spare bathroom, the beds were not comfy whatsoever & there were random items scattered all throughout the yards (old bed frame, random toys, old squished up water bottles, no lawn maintenance). The owners were super quick to respond when I reached out regarding the roof leak and scuff marks but no resolution while we were there for 7 nights. The home also has strict rules & regulations regardless of cleanliness and quality of home. I would be willing to stay here again if renovations were made and they found a much better cleaning company. I would NOT pay the same amount per night, $338, or any additional fees for cleaning and booking, $500.

We’re glad you enjoyed the home. All pets are subject to approval. We pay particular attention to the dangerous dog breeds and ask owners to reach out so we can confirm that they are responsible dog owners. (It’s rarely the dog that is an issue). We address scuff marks with magic erasers but that doesn’t always work. Those marks then go on the maintenance list for painting touch ups at the end of the season. You stayed with us during a week of intense storm activity (one day we got 6” of rain). This affects both the ability to cut the grass in the yard and also makes the grass grow very quickly. The yard guys tackle it as soon as they can. Similarly roof leaks take a while to address after such storms. The wait list for people gets long quickly. It will certainly get addressed but since it didn’t leak again during your stay it didn’t qualify as an emergency to the contractors who were very busy. This is not unusual here as we get storms which bring rain from every conceivable angle. This finds it a way into a home eventually but it may never occur nor be replicated by a standard hose test. It’s part of the geography of where we are I’m afraid.

Disappointing
The location of this property was very convenient. Close to attractions, beaches, and good eatery. The neighborhood itself was not good though. There was trash everywhere, the surrounding homes were not maintained, and someone across the street was also in the process of being evicted so everything from the inside of their house was in their yard. The check-in process was smooth and easy. Immediately, we noticed the couch was very stained. The kitchen window was also surrounded by black mold that we didn’t notice until our last night. We had a three year old in the home that needed several breathing treatments during our stay and we believe that was the reason. One of the bathroom sinks had trouble draining due to the stopper which was annoying. The bathroom in the hallway was also missing a bathtub stopper, which also caused trouble since we had two infants in the house that had to take baths without water being filled in the tub, which caused them to be cold and fussy. I was very confused why this property had so many 5 star reviews, but it is because the owner bribes their guests with Starbucks Gift Cards if they leave one. I would not stay here again.

Thanks for the feedback. The couch is steam cleaned regularly but it is a pet friendly home. It is slated to be cleaned again 6/13. We found no issue with the bathroom stoppers. They are simple push to close and push to open. Perhaps you didn’t realize you could press it to open it up further. The homes on the other side of the street are being demolished so the tenants are in the process of leaving. The neighborhood is quite safe. Just more gentrification. We don't "bribe" anyone to leave a 5 star review. Guests leave those because they have a fantastic time. We provide a gift card regardless of the stars in the review because we do appreciate the feedback. We noted the couple of small patches of mildew that you sent to us after your stay. Mildew is a common issue in South Carolina at this time of year and is easily cleaned. If you find a bathroom stopper is missing feel free to reach out to us in future so we can run one over to you.

The backyard is beautiful and spacious. The most important thing for us was how communicative and wonderful the hosts were. It was a busy weekend but we didn’t have to worry about a thing. It’s perfect location made it easy for us to be where we needed to be quickly. It was a wonderful experience!!

convenient to Charleston and Breweries!
Great place for dogs and convenient to Charleston and breweries! Loved the fenced back yard and fire pit. Kitchen was equipped with everything! Even dish and laundry detergent! Clean and roomy! Enjoyed our stay!!

Best part was the location, we enjoyed Mt Pleasant. They need to do a better job cleaning but we enjoyed this cute little house

Charleston Christmas
This was our first trip to Charleston and we were very happy that we picked this property. The house was clean upon arrival with all the little touches provided that made you feel like you were home. We were thrilled to be able to check-in 2 hours early as we had just driven for 10 hours (great communication)! The location was just perfect! It was within walking distance to shops and restaurants and just minutes from Downtown Charleston. The yard was great for our 2 dogs and the neighborhood was very nice to walk around.

Prime Location for Shem Creek
My wife and two dogs stayed at this house. We enjoyed the fenced in back yard and easy walk to Shem Creek. This house is an easy drive into Charleston as well.
