The room was okay, but the bathroom door had a crack at top outside corner, every time you exit the bathroom, it would stick and loud when opening. Also, the pool was green and not sanitary to use.

Arrived at 7:30PM. Entrance had a sign that read: Be back at 9:00 PM . WHAT??? Are suppose to sit in my car til 9:00 PM?? Unacceptable!!! A two night stay. Multiple times we tried to use our card to gain entrance to the building near our first floor room n the card didn’t work. Had to walk threw the parking lot to the front door n it was locked again.😡. Plus the sink did not drain well. Disgusting!!

The staff and the cleanliness was a huge deal for me they did a great job. The pool was extremely dirty and even if it’s winter it should at least get cleaned out or covered. It was disappointing to see. With that being said, I would definitely still stay here I just hope they do something about the pool.

Great location, poor shape
I love the area, been to Murphys before. The outside of this hotel is fine but inside is a different story. Our room looked like it had not been dusted in weeks, the shower curtain rod was falling off the wall, the floor was filthy, the furniture inside our room was old and worn. I stayed at this same hotel in 2019 and it was clean. It may have changed owner/ management since then. The location is great as there are local restaurants and markets 5 mins walk or less away but I will stay elsewhere next time in the area.

Clean room and bathroom. The beds were comfortable. Walking distance to everything Murphys has to offer was perfect. Knowing it was off season, the pool looked scary. It was difficult to get assistance in the lobby… I had to call several times, each time there was no answer. When they finally arrived the helped the people who arrived after us. Good parking.

Cozy and Clean Inn
It was a business stay and the club was in town. It was close to downtown and restaurants and shops were nearby. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Cookies were an added treat as you checked in. Rooms were clean and comfy.

Roaches
We have stayed here for over 10 years during the grape storm weekend. While we were checking in there was a lady mopping the floor right next to us with bare feet. Once we were in our room there were 3 roaches. When we went to check out this morning there was no one at the desk. By far the worst experience ever.

The beds were comfortable and the air conditioning in the room worked well. We were looking forward to using the pool, but the day before there was an inspection that found issues with the disinfection so the pool was closed. We were there for two nights and the power went out both nights. No backup generator at this motel. We made the best of the situation but we’re disappointed that no discount or other compensation was provided for the lack of swimming pool and inconvenience with the power outages.

Our go to place to stay in Murphys
The pool was not accessible when we arrived on Saturday and still had the sign on the gate on Monday when we checked out. I had asked about it on Sat and the front desk person told me it should be good to go on Sunday. It was hot and muggy would have been nice. Everything was great in the room but the carpet. It was stained and sticky on bare feet. It either needs deep clean or replacement. Despite there being a huge storm and the power going out for about 10 hours, most of the time was while we slept, it was a great stay as usual. We always stay here as you can walk the entire Main St where all tasting rooms, restaurants and shopping are. Then come on back and not Drink and Drive. Plus it is hard to park on the Main St during weekends for sure.

Loved that we could walk to see the historic buildings and also find plenty of dining options in the immediate vicinity. Although the motel didn’t have many amenities, it was clean and had comfortable beds.
