'Easy access to lake. Loved the covered dock. Living room furniture comfortable. We have stayed at other homes on the lake of egypt, and we would come back to this one. Was not moldy like some. Restaurant next door has good food. Was a little noisy at night because they had a concert, but was fine with us'

'All I have to say is this was an amazing experience we have had as a family. Not only the host had EVERYTHING perfect and was absolutely a huge help with suggestions and ideas for the area but this was a perfect place to stay and not only enjoyed having time with one another but the huge lot gave us time to explore, play baseball and even our dog absolutely loved running wild! 'So many good things about this house- great location, so cute, stocked with snacks. My two complaints are 1) the furniture. The couch and chairs are flaking leather, and it’s all over the floors. You can’t lay on the couch, the flakes get everywhere then. I found them in the bed, in my hair… I think that needs to be taken care of. 2) we found a dead mouse in a trap under the couch. Really wish that would have been checked and dealt with before we got there. All in all, I do recommend this house...

'If you are looking for peace and quiet in wine country this is definitely the place. We stayed for almost a month and explored the area pretty thoroughly. There is a lot within an hours drive to do in Missouri, Kentucky, and Illinois of course. The host is incredible!!!!'
