EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED
First of all we the owner was dishonest with us about the fenced in back yard. That’s the only reason we selected this property because we had our dog with us. We arrived and noticed on one side there were only posts. When I messaged her about this, it took her over 8 hours to respond saying this must have happened right before we got there from a storm that just happened. This was a direct lie as we spoke to the neighbor and he told us he tore the fence down 7 months ago because it was leaning and he has been attempting to contact the owner to discuss and was ignored on more than one occasion. Then our private little outdoor sitting area was in the driveway of unit B facing four trash cans. There was a car parked there the entire time and the trash and smelled and were disgusting. There was one window with the glass broken, the linoleum floors were gapped and coming up and dirty in between the cracks. The couch was barely big enough for my husband and I to sit on it and in NO WAY could sleep a 3rd person. The TV glitched and was VERY slow to respond and there was no TV in the bedroom meaning there was no comfortable space to lay or relax with my husband to watch a movie. Unit B in the back was BEAUTIFUL but not advertised as one whole home. Unit A reminds me of a very run down place with many problems that got a 50 dollar DIY makeover. We checked out a day early because of all these issues. The nicest thing was the location and the wonderful neighbors.

**BEWARE, this guest was a nightmare to deal with and I do not recommend this guest to any host our there! If you read our other reviews, you should see that people loves this rental near Vanderbilt beach. We are in the middle of installing a brand new fence this week. Our photos are accurate, you can see what we have to offer.

Affordable
This unit was clean and neat. The host was responsive. We gave 3 stars because the AC needed repair on arrival. The bathroom fan was not working. The kitchen was not fully equipped. No baking pans for example. No large pan to make breakfast for two. Broken toaster. No grille, no lighter. Host did deliver some of these items. With a little more care so that we didn’t have to ask for items, we would give 4 stars.

AC is working great!! BEWARE...this was the highest maintenance guest I have ever had in 10 yrs!! I am surprised she did not call me to bring her breakfast in the morning LOL. When the guest arrived and contacted me right away about the small issues with the rental, EVERYTHING was fixed and handled and extra items needed delivered within the hour!! We make sure we offer the best service we can so you can relax and enjoy your stay. We delivered a new toaster, extra cooking pans ( we already provided 2!), bought a new charcoal grill per her request

The house was clean, as listed and close to beaches. Communication was excellent. Some neighbors have their extra stuff piled nearby, but we kept the shades drawn and enjoyed our stay. We felt safe walking our dog at night. Lovely stay overall.

Property was perfect for us and our dog. Back yard was private and so nice! We had a great view of fireworks on New Years Eve too! Mireille was a great host! She was very helpful and attentive to when we wanted to make changes. We would defiantly stay again!

Beach Cottage
Nice little property in a great neighborhood with real friendly neighbors. Close to the beach. Easy for bicycling, although the bicycles that are provided leaves much to be desired.

Overall nice
It was clean and well equipped. However, it would be better if there was a full sized couch, a full sized dining table, and the shower was updated. New towels would also have been nice. Nice, quiet neighbors. Great air conditioning. Comfortable queen sized bed. Thank you!

We provide a king size bed and full size sofa and full size dining table. I think this guest was trying to review someone else.

Anniversary get away
Very nice and spacious stay for a 1bed/bath duplex. Very close to the beach, state park, and restaurants. Very quiete and peaceful neighborhood. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

Never again!
This unit is in a nice area close to the beach, shops, and grocery stores. It has a comfortable bed, a newer kitchen, and is as clean as possible. This is a duplex. Nothing in the description indicated this would be a shared property. Many of the items in the unit (furniture, dishes, towels, bedding, etc.) are Goodwill quality from 20 years ago. The Unit A “patio” is 2 tiny metal chairs and table on a 4 foot-wide-strip of cement that abuts the driveway of the rear unit. The view includes a broken fence and garbage cans. This is the only option for outdoor seating unless you sit in the asphalt parking area in the front. The fenced-in yard on the opposite side of the building where a dog would supposedly play is about 10 feet wide and runs along the length of building. It contains 2 water heaters, 2 air conditioning units, a shed, satellite disc, and numerous abandoned rodent traps. The couch, which is the only seating in the living room, is small, uncomfortable, faded, and dirty. The washer and dryer are in the bathroom, and the walls around them have been primed white but were never painted to match the rest of the room. The drawer on the bathroom vanity is broken. The bathroom fan does not work. The garbage disposal does not work. There is 2 inches of standing water in the bottom of the dishwasher. There is no dresser. There is a large closet with hangers but no shelves or drawers. The unit was not what we expected. We rented a different place and left two days early.

BEWARE! This guest was impossible to please and probably never traveled before. Extremely high maintenance guest with irrational requests! Our rental is in great condition and we update our items and furniture all the time if needed to make sure all our guests enjoy their stay. We take pride of our rental and it is well maintained and cleaned regularly. And NO, our items in the unit (furniture, dishes, towels, bedding, etc.) are NOT from Goodwill! Everything is new! LOL

Amazing stay!
We had such a great time at this rental! It was nicely cleaned on arrival with comfortable furniture and everything we needed during our stay. Easy check-in and the host was very easy to communicate with as well. We loved the neighborhood and our dog loved the fenced-in area off to the side. It was a perfect stay for our needs; thank you!

The door can close with no problem, you simply have to push back the washer a bit and it will closer. The washer can move slightly (few centimeters) on a spinning cycle. It is super easy to bump back to place

Locatio.n perfect !!!
This was great for our needs (we travel with 2 dogs). Pros: It was scrupulously clean. The bed was very comfortable and the linens good. Loved the neighborhood and location - perfect for riding bikes, close to the beach, great for walking the dogs. The bikes and beach wagon were great perks and very appreciated. Cons: The house is no-frills; very functional and comfortable, but not fancy in any way. Kitchen utensils are adequate but minimal. We would have appreciated a toaster. There is only one couch and no other living room seating. Another chair or two would be helpful. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would certainly stay again.

Nice little getaway
We were in a great location with easy access to lots of venues. House was adequately supplied with comfortable furnishings and beach decor. Very quiet neighborhood. Seemed to have a number of new additions to kitchen. Owner was very friendly and easy to work with. Just needs the bathroom door reconfigured and maybe a chest of drawers for more storage. Would stay there again.

Great Location
The location was close to Vanderbilt Beach and to the grocery stores. The beach was amazing and refreshing. We also went to Fort Myers and Sanibel. We had our Anniversary dinner at Sails which was exceptional. The house was tiny but good for two people. It was very clean and maintained. The only things we didn't like was the bathroom door didn't open all the way in there. So it was in the way if two people were in there. It should swing out. The other thing is we couldn't find a dust pan to sweep up the sand, we used a piece of paper lol. Not ideal. All in all we would recommend this vrbo!

A happy vacation!
We were pleased with our experience and the property. We thought the bed was comfortable. We didn't ask but from the picture we thought the yard was fenced in since it was considered pet friendly. The neighbors were all friendly as were the renters in the other half of the property. Loved that we could walk to Vanderbilt Beach. It was close to anything we needed, restaurants, retail, gas stations and a pet daycare. We would have no hesitation in renting again.
