'Stayed at our favorite VRBO in Salida again. This time we spent a sunny morning in Monte Vista and saw thousands of awesome cranes before heading back to Salida for shopping and dinner.'

'The place was ideal for a 2 night stay; it was clean, kitchen well stocked (utensils and spices), and brand new appliances. Only negative is the shower bar is too low and my buddy whacked his head the first time he used the shower.'

'We have stayed at the Palace Hotel many time over the years, even when it was still a hotel. We were so happy to be back in Suite 301 again, and had a lovely time. Very private and relaxing. Thanks for making it easy and special!'

'This place was great for our family of 5 and family dog. We skied and fished and hiked and ate well out or in. It’s a short walk to dog-friendly trails across the river, to dry fly fishing in town and to numerous good restaurants and shopping downtown. We hope to come stay again soon.'

'Family of 4 (kids 7-9 years of age) and our dog all stayed for a week. The condo is beautiful. I enjoyed the artwork from all their travels around the condo. The location was close to F street and the park, so it was easy access to everything. We will definitely check for availability for all of our future Salida visits. Cheers!'

'The "biker" is a fantastic property. Access and parking is easy and efficient. The kitchen was very nice and equipped with all the essentials. The cookware was better than most VRBOs. The beds were in great shape and the bedrooms and bathrooms were large and well-stocked. Overall great property and location. I would definitely highly recommend.'

'We needed a place close to the surf hotel where we could take care of our granddaughter while her parents went to a wedding. This was perfect. The location was half way between the hotel and downtown. Everything was in walking distance including a park. The condo was very clean and had plenty of room for us. We would stay here again.'

'Loved this historical factor and the details of the room. Very comfortable beside having to deal with the temperature it was fairly warm throughout the night and we were unable to to get the system to cool off the room. Everything else was super. We would definitely stay there again!!'

'Great little townhome. It was clean and affordable. Loved the little air conditioner. We barely used it on the morning we left because it was cooler while we were there but I couldn't imagine not having it during the hotter months. 'This house was perfect for a long weekend in Salida with young kids - good floor plan and basic but clean and updated furnishings and finishes. Kitchen is easy for meal prep. Super close to downtown shops, restaurants and the playground. Easy access to trails on S Mountain. Property manager super responsive - no issues while we stayed though - they just checked in a few times to make sure we were okay.'

'Our stay was filled with lots of snowy weather. It cleared out a few times and we were able to take in the beautiful views the cabin provided. What a wonderful view! We loved the privacy and how close it was to the hot springs!'
