SO WORTH IT!!!
From the moment we stepped on board, we were greeted with a sense of luxury and elegance. The yacht itself was absolutely stunning, with spacious cabins that provided the perfect blend of comfort and style. And let's not forget about the views from the deck! It was like having our own private oasis on the water. But what truly set this experience apart was the exceptional hospitality of the host. They were incredibly kind and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. From recommending the best local spots to ensuring our needs were met, they truly made us feel like VIP guests. It's rare to find such genuine warmth and care in a host, and it made our stay even more memorable. The amenities on the yacht were top-notch. We had access to all the modern conveniences we could ask for, from a fully-equipped kitchen to a cozy living area. It was like having a home away from home, but with the added bonus of being surrounded by the beauty of the ocean. Overall, I can't recommend this VRBO yacht rental enough. It's not just a place to stay, but a complete experience that will leave you feeling pampered and rejuvenated. So if you're looking for a truly unforgettable getaway, don't hesitate to book this yacht. You won't be disappointed! ⚓️💫

If you’re looking for a different and unique Vrbo stay, this is the one! The distribution was spot on! Elizabeth met us at the marine and showed us all the amenities the marina offers and there are many! Walked us through the yacht explaining everything. This place checked all the boxes, plus! We’re hoping the return! Book it!!

Relaxing weekend getaway for our family. Yacht is very clean and well stocked for everything you need. Weather was a bit chilly and windy, and we stayed cozy inside! Marina is beautiful with great amenities, very quiet. Would definitely stay again!

All that we had hoped for!
Our stay was just what the doctor ordered, relaxation filled with fun & laughter!! Believe me you could never go wrong staying here. The pictures do not do it justice and the location couldn’t be better. I will definitely be planning another day!

Unique experience
We had a truly relaxing time, the area is very peaceful and quiet. The Weststar is clean and spacious and the beds are super comfortable. We enjoyed the top deck for coffee in the morning and wine in the evening. Didn’t stay long enough to explore the whole marina but there’s plenty to do. Would love to stay again sometime.

Awesome experience!!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay on the yacht. Everything was 100% positive. We loved everything about the yacht, the marina was beautiful, and the overall setup was perfect. The beds were comfy, the yacht was super clean, all the living areas were great, the kitchen was extremely functional, the bedroom/bathroom combinations worked out well for our group of 4, and the five unique levels of the yacht made it a unique experience. Elizabeth and Tim were always available when we had a question. And, they are super nice people. We love our VRBO rentals, and especially when the owners are high quality people like Elizabeth and Tim. A unique renting experience we will always cherish and remember. Without question, an enthusiastic five-star review!! This yacht is a big time winner. You will not be disappointed.

2nd, but not last, visit!
Second time meeting friends on the West Star! It was great revisiting the yacht, and knowing what we did and didn’t need. We brought plenty of food and drink, and our cars stayed parked all weekend. This time, we did use the kayaks to roam around the marina, and we rented jet skis right at the marina for a very exciting hour! Tim and Elizabeth were great hosts again, and I could see us making this an annual stay.

Great weekend getaway
It was a great setting for our annual “ladies weekend away.” We weren’t sure what to expect when we decided to book a docked yacht for this year’s trip. It turned out to be a really enjoyable and unique setting. We had a wonderful time! The owner, Elizabeth, was very nice and accommodating, as well.

Cocktails at Sunset and Kayak the Bay
We enjoyed our time on the West Star and the amenities at the Marina, from cocktails at sunset on the upper deck to kayaking the bay nearby to wandering around looking at the boats and dreaming of getting away! We were a full boat - 6 adults - which might have been a bit tight but one decided to sleep on the upper deck and one on the salon couch which worked out great for us. Hosts were very responsive and easy to work with.

Very lovely - great location and so peaceful
We decided as a family to book a different type of accommodation for the second part of a 16 day tour of USA from Vegas to LA. We were not disappointed - the boat had everything we needed and more. We were out most days and only used the boat for breakfast and chilling in the evenings but the space worked well for the family outside, inside it was a little cramped but that was not a fault - just an observation - it is a boat after all! For us the only small negatives of note were a daily charge for parking (we had two cars) and some smells from the toilet which are only to be expected in a camping type situation. Any negatives are more than out weighed by the beautiful, site closer to nature (we had two skunks join us on the pier one night) and staying somewhere unique and special. We had a wonderful 6 days.

Very Relaxing yacht
We had the most relaxing stay on this boat. Very nice and well stocked. Tim did an amazing job orienting us to the boat. We spent most of our time on the upper deck. For others who stay here it’s only 15 minutes from San Diego. It took us no time to get to the zoo from the yacht. Nice pool and hot tub on the property grounds which we used daily. We appreciated all the amenities and being able to stay in such a nice VRBO.

Awesome in All Respects!
Loved our stay on this wonderful yacht for over a week! The experience and location was fantastic, such a joy after a long workday to come back to the peaceful marina and enjoy a night on the boat. We had all the amenities we could need, the AC kept us cool during the hottest week of the year, plenty of hot water and water pressure, full size kitchen and comfortable surroundings. I love how close the parking lot is for load in and out, and I would definitely stay here again!!

Great location but needs updates
In anticipation of purchasing our own 60' yacht, we booked a 2 night stay with friends to experience what it would be like! Although we enjoyed our stay, the vessel is in need of a 'refresher' from the 2018 'updates'; carpet had an odor to it and linens were a bit worn. Having our own vacation rental, we understand what is expected from guests at this price point. The Marina was beautiful, the restaurant convenient and we enjoyed our dinners on the back of the boat.

This was such a fun option for our family while we toured some colleges and hit up sea world! We loved being able to fish off the back the boat, use the kayaks and eat at the little restaurant in the Marina! Highly recommend!

Amazing Experience- Very Clean Marina!
We surprised our kids with staying on a yacht during our SeaWorld trip. The kids were so excited and had a blast. Was great for the adults too as we spent the nights grilling on the community BBQ’s and enjoying a cocktail. The host was amazing and we look forward to staying there again.

Super fun alternative
Really fun. Lots of quirky differences and surprises made this a real crowd pleaser. Slightly challenging in some ways, but mostly lots of fun. The general neighborhood is not inconvenient but neither is it central to the various sights. Still it’s in within striking distance and has the distinct advantage of all sorts of amenities that no house nor hotel would have like kayaks, pool, hot tub, games, grills and decks, restaurant, access to rental jet skis and waterfront dining on your own floating veranda(s!). Glad we chose to stay here. Hosts were very friendly and easy to work with.

Wonderful stay!
We stayed on the yacht during the torrential rains in January, which made this an even more interesting experience. We were cozy and warm in the yacht, and enjoyed how well appointed it is for hunkering down. Kitchen has everything necessary to cook full meals, and the bedrooms are comfy with lots of pillows and quality linens. Luckily the weather broke and became quite pleasant for the last few days of our stay, so we could enjoy the outside spaces as well. Hosts were wonderfully responsive, and I would highly recommend a stay here for a unique experience.

Awesome!
My wife and I live in Las Vegas, and we’re friends with a couple in Temecula, and we try to get together a couple of times a year. My wife found this yacht on VRBO and we decided it might be fun to meet there for a weekend. We met up early, found a supermarket and did some shopping, then met Elizabeth at the boat at 3 for check-in. She showed us around, and answered all our questions. We stayed on the boat, and cooked, ate, drank, and just had a great time catching up, and it was cheaper than a lot of weekends we’ve spent in San Diego. Weather was beautiful for November, we ate all our meals outdoors at the table at the stern of the boat, and had cocktails on the top deck! Yacht was very clean, and well stocked with all the comforts of home. Sunrise and sunsets were beautiful. Elizabeth couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful. We plan on visiting the West Star again!

We rented the Yatch for a week in October and it met all of our expectations. The boat was clean, beautiful and we enjoyed all the levels with nice views. Kitchen is nicely stocked and the beds very comfortable. If you want to try something a little "different" from a hotel this is the perfect choice.

Perfect getaway!
Tim and Elizabeth were wonderful hosts. The vessel is just as it appears in the photos and it was the perfect VRBO for our vacation. It was nice that there were already condiments supplied such as spices, coffee, creamer and bottled water. The kitchen was well stocked with all you would need and more. The beds are very comfortable and there is enough space to tuck your clothes away. We loved sleeping with the hatch open so we could have the fresh air cooling off the bedroom at night. Our only wish would be to have a few more hangers in the closet and perhaps hooks for hanging towels. The marina has so many amenities that there were days that we chose not to leave. It has a pool, hot tub, restaurant, putting green, jet ski rentals and community BBQ’s. It’s located in a quiet location away from the city but still close enough that we were minutes away from everything. We would recommend this vacation rental to anyone looking for something a little different and would certainly book again.

Very beautiful and peaceful get-away
Check in was super easy, everything was spotless and looked just like the photos. A lot of comfortable space to move around. Nothing was lacking at all. Great place for some good rest & relaxation! The Marina was very clean and anyone we happened to meet were courteous. We didn’t cook but all pans & utensils were provided. We ate at the marina, the breakfast, lunches and dinners were all so excellent! We enjoyed the jacuzzi at the marina. The West Star is conveniently located to restaurants and sightseeing, Coronado Beach was a nice easy drive. Elizabeth was professional, helpful and kind, and the welcome bottle of wine was so thoughtful especially after a day of traveling. We would definitely stay here again!
