The house is both cozy and spacious. It is clean and well maintained. It is close to a couple state parks where you can hike and enjoy the numerous waterfalls. We enjoyed our stay!'

'Our extended family celebrated grandpa’s 70th birthday with a group of 12 ages 3 to 70. We all had a great time! The house was perfect with room for everyone. The indoor pool and hot tub were ready for us when we got there. They were a huge hit. There are plenty of pool toys available. 'My friends and I were delighted with the charm of this farmhouse. It is a quick drive or longer walk to the lake but it’s a beautiful area to walk through. 'This house was in a great location with awesome lakefront views while maintaining privacy, which is super rare for a lake property. I loved the historic charm and updates.The fall colors on the lake were incredible and a welcome sight to wake up to. A couple of notes that I did not pick up from the listing: the house is separated from the lake by a road and the boat house is in pretty rough shape, but this house was something special and we would recommend anyone to stay there.'

'What a great place for a large family. We were in the area for my mom’s funeral and I wanted a place that was large enough to accommodate my children and grandchildren to make happy memories. From the moment you walk in the door you get a comfortable feel. Large dining room table that fit 10 easily. The large sectional in the living space fit use all. 'I travelled with my mother to hike the Falls Trail at Rickett’s Glen, and we wanted to be comfortable in our downtime. This place was perfect. It’s just a few minutes to the park itself, and the parking lot at the bottom of the trail is right down the road. There is a 90% chance you’ll miss the driveway the first time, even if you read a review warning you the driveway is easy to miss, lol. This is not a complaint!
