'This is the second stay for my family at Brookside. What we enjoy most is having access to 370+ acres which includes fish ponds and paths for meandering. There's a nearby stream and waterfall to explore, plus easy access to the D&L trail for walking or biking. Also, Hickory Run State Park is close by for hiking. My work schedule prevented us from being there for our full duration and Helen was incredibly accommodating and communicative, even allowing us to extend on our final day.
