This is absolutely not a Leading Hotel of the World, we are more than surprised how the hotel manages to meet the LQA standards and not fall out of the collection.
No emotional check-in process, no addressing by name, no escort to the room. Minimal facilities in the room and only turn-down service from day to day. On departure we were asked if we could store our luggage, this would not be a problem as long as we brought it downstairs. The check-out itself, apart from asking for the room number, was irrelevant and unfriendly. Whichever LHW hotel tester checks the standards here, this hotel certainly does not.
Housekeeping on the other hand was extremely good, room service was excellent.
