Hotel bevindt zich op een goede locatie (nabij empire state building). Voldoende winkels en restaurants op loopafstand. Metro haltes op loopafstand (5-7 min). Kamers werden dagelijks goed schoongemaakt. Enig minpuntje: de kamer was (een stuk) kleiner dan verwacht.

Net hotel, maar overbetaald
Het eerste probleem: Een bedenkelijke EXTRA TOESLAG die je ter plaatse moet betalen. Het personeel is vriendelijk, maar vergeet nog al eens zaken en geeft geen terugkoppeling op vragen. Het hotel is netjes en recent gerestaureerd. Helaas zijn twee belangrijke zaken vergeten: De deuren (daar komt licht langs) en de zeer lawaaiige airco. De airco is vergelijkbaar met een zware dieselmotor qua lawaai. De kamer heeft wel een mooi ontwerp en bevat een goed bed en ziet er netjes uit. De locatie van het hotel is goed.

The entire lobby smelled like wood fire from the pizza ovens in the restaurant. There was only one nightstand and one lamp in the room. However, it was conveniently located near subway lines and great restaurants.

I LOVE THIS HOTEL!
Love this hotel. Convenient to work for my business trip. Staff are beyond friendly and accommodating. Happy hour provides an excellent selection of wine and cocktails. The forno baked pizzas perhaps the best in NYC. room the perfect size. Bed comfortable and bedding luxurious.

Attention parking scandaleux !
Hôtel bien situé. Mais 3 demandes nécessaires pour que le canapé-lit de la suite soit fait. Et surtout, parking (avec lequel l'hôtel a un accord et quil.conseille !) facturé 2 jours pour une journée et seulement... 45 minutes de plus ! Du vol pur et simple. Scandaleux !

Pleasantly surprised by this hotel. I loved the lobby area and overall look and feel of the hotel. The room was on the smaller size but was clean and met our needs. Location was convenient and walking distance to many sights

Dont recommend, below average stay, poor amenities
I really wanted to like this hotel. I even changed hotels the day before so I could stay here. It looked pretty, cozy and chic online. Well...unfortunately it wasn't. The hotel lobby is nice, and so are the two restaurants. That said, my mother and I were aghast at the room condition. Bumpy carpets, loud unruly air conditioning, uncomfortable beds, dreary lodging/hallways. But what really annoyed us was no hot water for tea, no cups for drinking, no counter space, no fast service (even in an emergency) and bad communication with staff. I called at 6:38AM for ice for my swollen feet, and at 7:27AM, I still had no ice; despite calling several times and upon my mother leaving for LGA and asking directly. At 7:30AM, I hobbled to the nearby Starbucks and got ice. One of the restaurants also gave me ice because I couldn't count on the staff communication. Further, when I arrived- they gave me a hotel room next to a deranged tenant who duck taped negative messages all over her front door. My first room also had an impossibly small bathroom. That was the first impression. Then, they moved me to another room, where there was no counter space and my mother and I had to put our stuff on the floor. Yes, the floor. It was just a weird old "historic" hotel that shouldn't have tenants and should be updated. Moreever, the hotel should have better communications between the phone concierge and the lobby...especially in emergencies. For $250 a night, I don't recommend this NYC hotel.

As we have recently re opened the hotel we are working on improving our operational efficiencies and will make the team aware of expectations when it comes to responding in emergency situations. I have addressed the feedback provided with the appropriate departments to prevent issues as such from re-occurring in the future, your feedback is important to us as it provides the chance to overcome these issues encountered. As like many hotels in NYC, they are home to tenants who have lived their entire lives, our Renaissance Revival style hotel has received a historic landmark award for its architectural structure. We are deeply sorry that the hotel wasn’t to your liking as a result of its historic feel. I would love to have the opportunity to speak with you directly. And would love the opportunity to welcome you back to the hotel in the near future to give you the Redbury experience we wish to be known for.

Tive dificuldades com o barulho do ar condicionado, ele realmente é muito barulho enquanto esta ligado, depois que aprendi a desligar consegui dormir bem. O chuveiro também demora cerca de 10-15min pra esquentar mas depois que esquenta funciona muito bem. O atendimento é muito bom, desde o responsável por carregar as malas até gerentes, são atenciosos e sempre dispostos a ajudar. A água poderia ser dada por diária e não apenas duas garrafas no check-in demorei para entender isso e acabei ganhando mais de um dia até que entendi que era apenas no check-in que recebia, fiquei 6 diárias então achei muito pouco pela taxa que é cobrada de uso diário do hotel, tem café todos os dias (café e leite) e também tem direito a uma taça de vinho no seu check-in. Voltaria pela a localização e atendimento.

The Redbury New York was the perfect place to stay for our overnight trip to NY. It was very clean and comfortable. We had a small room but it had all of the amenities we needed including a small refrigerator and in room safe. Parking was convenient as it was right next door. It was walkable to many of NYC attractions, restaurants and shopping. We enjoyed the wood burning pizza at MARTA, their onsite restaurant.

The staff was really nice. Everyone greeted you and was extra helpful. Room and bath were very clean and modern. I liked having the desk in front of the window to do work. Lots of restaurants and places to eat nearby. Two Starbucks around the corner and a large family park couple of blocks away.

The hotel is just reopening from the pandemic, and I found the staff welcoming, attentive, and most helpful. Room was nice - good linens - and super soft and full facecloths. Chambermaids were very attentive - didn't miss a thing. Location is great - subway lines a few blocks to the west or east. I'll be back!

Our stay at the Redbury was fantastic. All of the staff throughout the Hotel from reception, the Bar, the cafe and restaurant to the cleaners were very friendly and helpful. Alexandra the concierge made our stay even extra special with access to tickets and lots of useful information on how to enjoy New York. It was my partners birthday while we were there and she and Kayla arranged champagne and Chocolate to be sent to our room for the occasion. Even when the coronavirus lockdown started to kick in the staff were there to give advice on where to eat. The Hotel itself is beautiful and the rooms are very comfortable. It is also in a great locaation with so many attractions within walking distance or a short subway ride. I can give no better review than to say I would stay in this Hotel again in a heartbeat.

Beautiful lobby/bar/restaurant areas. I loved boutique feel of the hotel and the old photos of the city and celebrities. The room was small but extremely well laid out and had interesting decorative touches such as the collage of photos, art-deco clothes rack for more storage space. The room and hotel were clean and it was situated in a nice location. The closet housed the safe and refrigerator as well as an iron and ironing board. I will definitely return and have recommended the hotel to friends.
