'I decided to stay a bit out of town for a ski trip....and it was perfect. Just a 10 min ride down the hill to OKEMO and LUDLOW. It is absolutely beautiful and quiet...the sunsets and sunrises are amazing from the top of that hill. It is secluded and you really get a slice of VT. The unit is very large and spacious. Loved the sound of the river behind the apartment, loved how spacious the space was, and the proximity to town(walkable).We had everything we needed there to cook a meal when we arrived. The weather was unexpectedly warm when we arrived and the host offered to install the AC’s the next day but with a fan in the window we slept comfortably. Truly a lovely space! 'This was a great place to stay for an extended weekend while attending a family event. Swanzey is literally 5 miles from from Keene, NH. The 2 bed upstairs unit offered plenty of seating in both the (very comfortable) living room and the nice sized (6 seat) dining room. The bedrooms were nearly identical and the Americana decor is fresh. The mattresses were comfortable. Having laundry available was a great relief. While visiting we walked a few of the trails nearby, part of the Valley Trail and the Hoot, Toot and Whistle. They were both perfect for our pups, especially during hunting season.
