As you have noticed the City of Niagara Falls has a lot of “wrinkles and sagging” and needs a “face lift”. Four years ago, The Gray Goose house had “no face” at all 😊! We have invested a lot in this neighborhood, and it shows. All three side by side homes are legal and successful STR. We love to share them with out-of-town great folks like you! We have recently purchased the 3 vacant homes across the street and will start total rehab in spring of 2024. Along with the Aquarium, the 20-million-dollar new campus is directly behind us. NYS Park Police Niagara Headquarters are almost in our back yard, so our guests feel safe and protected. There is no danger coming from the boarded houses across the street, they are not abandoned any longer. To make our guests stay more enjoyable we created fantastic landscaping around the house with many colorful flowers, bushes, and flower planters. A unique flower planter (Face Head with big red lips) is in the front yard. Dozens of tourists stop by daily to take a picture next to it. Feels great to know your hard work is appreciated. We advertise just one TV in our listing. We could get TV in each bedroom, but we decided not to because most our guest spend their time outside sightseeing, hiking, and dining. Everyone has a laptop, Ipad, etc these days so they can watch their favorable programming in bed on their own device. If it is raining, our guests love to gather as a family and watch a movie and/or play a board games in the living room. Instead of TV we have invested in huge park style charcoal grill on the back yard to make our guests stay more enjoyable. We wish you safe travels! Halina & Merle

Barbara's family of 5 were pleasant to communicate with and polite at check in. We tried our best to make their stay safe and comfortable. All their special needs were met, large extra bath towels were provided personally by owner. The kitchen is stocked with good quality dishware, cookware, and utensils. Group of 9 guests spent a week prior to these guests and were happy with everything. We glad Barbara`s husband enjoyed preparing all meals in our kitchen daily, including cooking steaks and baking deserts in the oven. Unfortunately, cooking on the highest temperatures filled the house with smoke and triggered smoke alarm, cooking pots and pans got burnt, oven and stove got messy. The family left the house not tidy, and extra time for cleaning was necessary. We would not host them again.

Dear Debbie, It is unfortunate that you were disappointed with your stay, but we are glad you appreciate the convenience of the location in walking distance of all the Niagara Falls attractions as well as the superior condition and amenities of this rental. As is common with all accommodations we do have cameras that monitor the exterior of the property for everyone's safety however there are no cameras inside the house and we find it alarming for a guest to exaggerate this point in your review. The maximum occupancy of this rental is 12 people. However, the base pricing is set to make it more affordable for smaller groups. As explained upfront additional people do cost extra each night. Several additional people over 4 nights does add up, but it is necessary due to additional cleaning, bed changing, energy costs ext. As you state your additional cost was based on the days you said your additional guests would stay. To be clear they stayed the entire 4 days. Late checkouts under normal circumstances create a need for additional labor to have the home turned over in time and prepared for new arrivals the same day. Under COVID conditions this is even more challenging and so of course some of that cost must be passed on to guests who desire a late check-out. This property is in a cluster of rentals and all guests from each different party are entitled to peaceful enjoyment so there is an expectation for all guests to respect each other. When a group is hosting underage drinking, exhibiting drunk and disorderly behavior well into the night, we will address it and not apologize for enforcing reasonable behavior.
