What a nice surprise and first time ever that a hotel contacted me in advance to inquire about my wishes and to supply even twice most useful information ! The professional and friendly service from the entire staff at all times was most appreciated. Too bad only that the rooms aren't soundproof. And the first day the cleaning lady had forgotten to foresee handsoap and the third day no fresh water bottle was put in the room anymore.

Dit hotel ligt dicht bij de oude stad en alle voorzieningen zijn in de buurt: Fietsverhuur om de hoek, Galleries Fafayette op 100 meter, tram halte op 150 meter.

Fijn hotel, midden in de oude stad van NICE. Alles goed bereikbaar. Het bereik van WIFI op de hotelkamer erg slecht, na enkele malen vragen geen verbetering. Ik heb toch de indruk dat je met expedia een kamer krijgt die ze niet zo goed verkopen. Dit is mijn tweede reis met expedia. Ze hebben liever dat je zelf bij het hotel boek of via sites. Personeel, zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ontbijt prima, bedden uitstekend. Schone kamer, maar wel vlakbij de kamer van de huishoudhulp.

The staff was very nice and the property was clean. Very well located. And there’s a parking. Also, Massimo upgraded us, so the room was nice and spacious. Only issue is that the room had no view, just a construction wall. We couldn’t change as the hotel was fully booked. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would go back.

This is one of the best BW hotels I have stayed at anywhere. The staff were amazing and very helpful with information. The breakfast was a delight. It was a short walk down to the waterfront, trams and restaurants.

On check-in day, we arrived early and asked about breakfast cost, and was offered free breakfast for that day. Although we did say that we would pay, the receptionist insisted not to charge. Then we signed up for next morning breakfast. At check out, we were charged two days of breakfast. Why offered free of charge to begin with, and then charged? What type of policy is this? We’re not happy with this type of the hotel staff communication. Not reliable at all.

We stayed at the hotel in late November and had a fairly mixed experience. Unfortunately, our room was quite too warm with thick blankets and no way too cool the room down. (There was no aircon option in winter). We were left to open the windows fully at night (~6-10C outside at night) to get the room close to a comfortable night time temperature. Due to construction sounds in the morning this was also not very conducive to sound sleep. While most of the staff was nice and courteous, the person we were left with at check-out was uncharacteristically curt, which left a rather negative impression after leaving the hotel. We will probably not book there again.

Didn’t look exactly like it was in the pictures. Bedroom size was small…to tight and I’m not even a huge person. No room to wiggle with a big luggage. Bathroom size was good enough. Location was perfect. Accessible to food, shopping, etc… Still a good option should we go back to Nice

4 nights stay . Breakfast included. While the hotel is conveniently located closed to old town and place massena, I wouldn't call it a 4 star hotel . No proper bar on site , breakfast area quite small as well as bedrooms .Next I come over I will try somewhere else. The price we paid ,in my opinion wasn't in line with what the hotel provided apart maybe for the location but that's all . Sorry !

Pleasant stay in Nice
Had a nice stay at Best Western Massena. Staff was very attentive and friendly. Location was great! Just 5 minute walk to the Old Town and even shorter walk to high end shopping and restaurants. Room was much smaller than anticipated despite booking the “privileged” room. Toilet in a very small area separate from the rest of the bathroom. Common areas all appear pretty newly renovated. Would stay again due to location and staff.
