It's like someone furnished it by spending one day shopping at rummage sales. Beds are fine for kids but not too many adults will find them comfortable. 'We chose this location because it was central to a couple of paddles that we wanted to do on the Wisconsin River. We were not disappointed. We were able to do a short "warm up" paddle on the lake the day we arrived. In spite of some rain near the conclusion of our first river trip, we had a great time! The accommodations were excellent for our needs; making breakfast in the morning and relaxing after a day on the water. Very clean and everything worked! A great stay all around.'

'This riverfront cabin was just right for our family of six. Modern rustic appeal and very well-furnished kitchen. There were plenty of comfy beds for our crew. Kids had fun using the kayaks and rowboat for many hours on the river. Two outdoor grills, screened porch, and bags game, all in a private secluded spot along the river. My only suggestion is to put some steps along the steep grade down to the river. It’s a bit slippery! All-in-all a wonderful four days spent in a peaceful, comfortable...

'Since we live 2 hours away, we spent one night here in order to be on time for a medical procedure at the nearby Marshfield Clinic fairly early the next morning. We found the room clean and comfortable, just what we needed. The heater in the room was quiet and kept an even temperature. Breakfast included waffles and Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches, rounding out the usual fare of cereal and breadstuffs. The pool area was locked but that wasn't a problem for us since we wouldn't have used it...

'Our room was exceptionally clean. The bed was super comfortable. The best part was the quietness of the room. We knew there were others on the floor but you certainly could not hear them unless they walked right by our door. Travelling with 2 small dogs, we totally appreciated the sound proofed rooms! We were visiting family and will definitely stay here next time!'
