'Location is good close to ben en Jerry's factory and Stowe. Interior is old and smells stuffy and humid. Matresses are covered with plastic and are very uncomfortable. Owners live on the premisses and are helpful. '

The view of the water, breathtaking. Went for a great 4 mile run in the morning. Bobbi Sue made the whole trip. Fantastic communication and we wanted for nothing . Cannot wait to come back!!!! '

'We had an amazing experience starting with the setting and lodging. The cozy cabin on the peninsula point on Lake Eden is lovely and the views and the cabin were wonderful. We had a stellar view of the eclipse. The lake was still frozen with fresh snow on top which added to the magical experience. Jim is a great host and quick answer to questions. 'The apartment was clean and cozy and had all the amenities you could want in a vrbo stay. I loved that it was dog friendly and so close to Stowe - so easy to get there by car or by the bus that stops almost right in front of the lot you park in. My one negative comment is not the VRBO’s fault but I feel it’s necessary to note and remind people searching that the location above the bar does matter. Most nights the music ended early but Saturday night the bartender FORGOT to turn the music off and...

'We really like the setup of this rental space. The one-bedroom unit was spacious, with a small kitchenette that has everything that we need for simple meals. Even better was the living space with a side area for small children. We brought along the Guiding Eyes for the Blind puppy we were raising and his crate fitted nicely in the living room space. It was unfortunate that a spring snow storm cut our stay short. We would have loved romping in the snow with the puppy. We are so glad that the...

'Beautiful house with great furnishings, comfortable beds, a well supplied kitchen, and plenty of outdoor amenities. Outdoor hot tub was an absolute hit with our group! Location is remote and quiet which is great for peaceful mornings and evenings, but it's still close to Woodstock/Lincoln for daytime activities. Be prepared to disconnect - there is wifi available but it is slow and spotty, especially with 4 users accessing at once.'

'The hotel is very, very much overrated by Expedia. The price is much too high for a hotel without a lounge, restaurant and bar. Only once in a three days the bed linen is replaced. The location of the hotel is isolated: there is nothing on walking distance. But most shocking is the amount waste created by a simple breakfast; the hotel successfully prevents any dishwashing. It is far from sustainable!'
