'Jim is good host. He shared his knowledge of area which was helpful. Our casita was private although location is near their home and one other listing. He was prompt in responding to issues with refrigerator. Road to casita was better than most mountan roads we've experienced in Costa Rica.'

Property is about 10 minutes from Dominical and is road which is not paved (and up a hill). Can’t imagine a car without 4x4 would work, we rented a Hyundai toucan and it worked fine. 'The property was beautiful. We were not prepared for how difficult it was to get to the property. I think the listing should explain it is a very difficult car ride it is. That made our travel and events much more limited. We also had a significant issue with the water supply, we had a whole day (the one day we all took a day of rest at the house) without water supply and it took all day to get it serviced.
