'The Captain Stannard house is a true gem in Westbrook. There are many restaurants, shops, parks, and beaches close by. The property has a private yard and a large rear porch for relaxation. My room was impeccably clean and spacious for being the smallest one in the house. Dianne was incredibly sweet and went out of her way to help all the guests. '

'There are no words to say how amazing this property is. Like stepping back to the past where the customer service, quality of the linens and rooms and absolute attention to detail not only still exist but thrive at this place. The onsite restaurant was a 15 out of 10, and again service above and beyond so many places in this day and age. I am truly grateful and appreciative of the attention to the customers and details that are clearly their mission and it shows. They make you feel so welcome...

'This is an old house redone into a bed/breakfast. The bed was comfortable for a quick night stay, and the breakfast was very good that the host made himself. Was not wearing very clean attire when we met, but I feel that was just fine because he was a real down to earth person and very hospitable.'

'Hot tub area and sauna could use some updating, the pillows in the room were extremely uncomfortable. Everything else was good. '

'Klamme en vochtige kamer. Wij gaan er niet weer naar toe. Verouderde inrichting. Positief is de koelkast op de kamer. Handig met dit warme weer. Werkelijkheid en foto's site komen niet overeen. '

'Dit hotel is verouderd en het stinkt overal naar sigarettenrook. Er was verl geluid van de snelweg. En het onbijt was armzalig...wit brood met alleen jam of pindakaas. Wat fruit en ern muffin. Zeker geen aanrader'
