'This place is much larger than we thought from reviewing the listing. Very spacious and great for family groups. Exceptionally well equipped. You don’t need to bring anything except your food. It’s on a very quiet piece of property out in the country. Not much nearby, but a relatively short drive to Chatham or Tilbury if you need groceries. The owner was very responsive to all of our questions, and the whole process was very easy. we would definitely recommend it. Thank you Trevor.'

'My family stayed here with my brother’s family and it was a great size for our group of eight. We actually had a bedroom and bathroom to spare. Everything is like new and very beautiful. The place is well stocked and the whole stay felt very easy. Highly recommend!'

'Came here for our 45th wedding anniversary. It was better than expected! There is no internet or tv but we werent expecting or needing it, so suitedcour needs completely! Staff is wonderful and the common fireplace is a great way to meet other guests and chat up. Everyone there was super friendly! Very close to the hiking trails too!'

'David and Stefan made us feel at home immediately. In our three night stay here, there is absolutely nothing to criticize. All meals were fabulous. There is always something of interest to do here, whether it be hiking, paddling on the pond, relaxing or reading. It's a great place to achieve digital detox and get away from everything for a while. We love this place!! '

'Le site est bien aménagé et bien entretenu. Les chambres sont vétustes, mais elles sont propres et bien équipées. La propriétaire est gentille et accueillante. Étant dans une période hors saison, nous étions les seuls hébergés. Nous avons adoré la tranquillité de cet endroit qui est situé devant une rivière. Malgré quelques points négatifs, nous recommandons cet endroit. '

'We arrived at around 7:15pm, but the door of the reception was closed! And they even didn't accept us to have the dinner at its restaurant, the staff said the lastest reservation time for the dinner was at 6:45! We stayed at a room, not a cottage, we can hear the people who stayed next room, talking clearly just as they were sleeping beside you, it is not private at all!'

'Room wasn’t the cleanest - found long black hairs in the bathroom and on the carpeting. Shampoo bottles were half full/used. Dusty baseboards and yellow droplets on the vent beside the toilet which I’m hoping wasn’t pee. Hotel says breakfast included but it’s actually just a bag of bread and a toaster with a coffee machine. Property was quite rundown, some junk sitting around outside around the property so not the most welcoming. It was fine for what we needed but wouldn’t stay here if there...
