Classic Austro-Hungarian style hotel, great location. Only downside is the view on the very ugly roof of the hotel next door (Hotel Paris). The staff are somewhat stiff, and they raised prices of parking and pets without mentioning that on Expedia. That's a minus. Otherwise we had a nice time because there are many great food/drink locations around and Opatija is just awesome!

No airconditioning in October, because they switched to summer mode, while outside +25C. During breakfast no napkins, no forks but only knifes;), tables are not prepared for breakfast. Lobby personnel is friendly and trying to help.

Insgesamt ist das Hotel als gut zu bewerten. Preis- Leistung ist in Ordnung. Ausnahme ist vor allem die Parkplatzsituation. Für ältere Menschen mühsam bis schwierig. Sehr laut ! Zu empfehlen daher ein Zimmer zur Parkseite u nicht mit Meerblick.

L'albero è in una località bellissima che ricorda molto San Remo, a poca distanza da Fiume per le cliniche. Prenotate vista mare vale la pena, letti un po' basso per noi che siamo alti MT. 1,80. Ottima colazione e personale molto gentile.

위치가 좋고 전체적으로 전망 좋고 청결함. 주차가 편리하나 하루에 15유로 받는건 좀 단점임.

Nice traditional hotel with character
This is a nice hotel, well located for a stroll along the seafront and nearby restaurants. The hotel is rather dated but not in a dire way, adding character to its rooms and nice balconies. The lift can be crammed in the morning so this is worth planning for as you exit, particularly as we did with a large tourist group trying to exit at the same time.

The staff at the reception desk was very friendly and helpful. But there were hardly any teaspoons available (the receptionist told us that tourists just steal them) and the scrambles eggs, the bacon and the coffee were only lukewarm.

Le bain-douche gagnerait en sécurité avec une barre d’appui pour y accéder et en descendre. Aussi le pommeau de douche partait dans tous les sens lorsqu’il était activé … murs, plafond et meubles se trouvaient tout trempés. Le déjeuner propose bcp de choix.

Our room was clean and comfortable, the location was great and pay parking lot behind hotel was convenient but a bit expensive. The area has many local attractions within walking distance, and areas to swim. As well as coffee, restaurants and bars. The bar at the hotel was a nice amenity, we enjoyed sitting outside in the evenings. Two things that we missed in our room was having an iron in the room, and access to ice.

Awesome staff, wonderful location, clean hotel and great food for breakfast and dinner as well. Several beaches are on a walkable distance from this hotel. We were amazed by all their staff, they went above and beyond to help us and recommend anything that we were interested to try. Special thanks to Ana, Luka and Bojan from the hotel reception. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Schon beim Check-in wurden wir freundlich empfangen und der Rezeptionist bemühte sich uns auf Deusch Auskunft zu geben. Wir haben, obwohl nur Zimmer mit Meerblick reserviert wurden, Balkonzimmer erhalten. Frühstücksbuffet war ausreichend un es gab eine große Auswahl von Wurst und Käse über Rührei und gebratenen Speck bis zu Mehlspeisen wie Apfelstrudel. Der Bootshafen für Schiffsausflüge war in wenigen Minuten erreichbar. Es gab schöne Parkanlagen.

The hotel itself was fine. Room was a nice size, high ceilings. You look out over a park to the sea 3 blocks away. The room, however, was very warm when we arrived (10pm). The AC was not turned on yet for the season, and they had a Latin Dance contest in the lobby, so opening our windows wasn't possible unless we wanted to feel like we were in the competition! Night manager refused to change our room :-(

Excellent location. A short walk with rolly bag up the hill on upside of the Main Street. Excellent breakfast food. Tasty and hot eggs, various fruit, nice assortment of buns. Good hot coffee and cold juices. Lovely all around. Right across from Angelino park. Thank you!

After an inauspicious start (the room allocated was not as booked), we were given a wonderful room with balcony and superb view. Sadly, a simple request for tea making facility in room was 'not permitted', but otherwise the staff were pleasant and helpful. Car parking is tight for the Bristol - nowhere outside hotel for drop off on a busy road - but fortunately we were able to secure one of the very few on site carparks at rear of hotel. The location is otherwise good: opposite Park Angiolina and good proximity to centre of town and the Lungomare promenade.
