The beach is a longer walk from the property but the location is a great jump off point for many of the local beaches and forest access…. We did not get in until late and were very touched that the host had left lights on for us inside! We would definitely stay here on a return trip.'

'If you want to visit the redwoods, this location can't be beat! Just minutes to various trails and visitors center. Be aware there's not much food-wise in Orick, so come prepared with groceries or be willing to drive a bit for restaurants. The house was clean, and I really appreciated the ability to do laundry and how well stocked the house was. The listing does need to be updated - I believe when I booked it had listed a hot tub and two tvs for example, there was no hot tub and only one tv. Not...
