Centraal gelegen en comfortabel hotel
Het hotel is gevestigd in een oud bankgebouw, maar geeft meer de indruk van een oud klooster, dankzij het binnenplein (waarnaar de kelner in het restaurant trouwens zelf verwees als il chiostro, dus de kloostergang). Bijzonder ruime en goed uitgeruste, rustige kamers (niet het minste last van nachtlawaai, hoewel je vlak in het centrum van de stad zit) met een even ruime badkamer. Het ontbijtbuffet is voldoende uitgebreid en de keuken van het restaurant (waar ik tweemaal de avondmaaltijd gebruikt heb) was absoluut de moeite. Enig kleine minpuntje: de minibar werd na de eerste nacht niet bijgevuld.

Goed hotel in leuke buurt
Je loopt vanuit dit hotel makkelijk naar alle bezienswaardigheden in de stad. Tevens ligt het hotel in een hele leuke buurt met voldoende barretjes en restaurantjes om in de avond van de Italiaanse sfeer te genieten.

Geweldig en overdadig!
De kamer voldeed boven verwachting, ontvangst was hoffelijk, auto werd weg gebracht, alles zeer schoon, verdienstelijk en een vorstelijk ontbijt. Zelfs een badjas en slippers in de badkamer met bad. Kan niet beter!

Warm aanbevolen!
Bij aankomst hadden we nog wat twijfel over de ligging vanwege het sfeerloze voorplein en de wat merkwaardige ingang aan de zijkant. Maar eenmaal binnen zeer sfeervol en mooi hotel! Verder liggen alle bezienswaardighedenl op loopafstand. Zeer vriendelijke ontvangst door de receptionisten, voor wie geen moeite teveel lijkt. Mooie, zeer rustige kamer. Het ontbijt zou iets gevarieerder mogen, maar ook hier weer uiterst vriendelijk personeel. Alles opgeteld een absolute aanrader! De meer zakelijke hotels rond Politeama kunnen niet tippen aan Piazza Borsa.

indrukwekkend mooi hotel in voormalig bankgebouw(nu o.a eetzaal) en voormalig klooster met prachtige binnenplaats. kamers mooi ingericht. bij het ontbijt ontbreekt alleen bruinbrood, verder alles aanwezig, zelfs prosecco. Alle bezienswaardigheden die er toe doen zijn te belopen. Auto kan voor je geparkeerd worden door het hotelpersoneel voor ongeveer 18 euro per dag.

Lack of parking and internal atrium view room
Beautiful Atrium in the middle, which my room face on to so I had no natural air or light. Service was ok and there is NO parking. I didn't choose the hotel so that was fair enough but the streets are a bit of a maze if you're using satnav. Was it worth the money? Not really if I'm honest, but if you're looking for a bit of faded glory from Palermo's past I thought it was decent. That's why I've given it 4/5 stars.

I did not like being stranded at the airport after the hotel booked me a cab that did not accept anything except for cash in which I did not have. Why would you offer a service if you’re not going to charge the bill to the room or at least provide a service that doesn’t just take cash.

Une nuit agréable
Bel hôtel très bien placé au centre de Palerme. Un personnel très serviable. Le parking privé est un peu cher 18€. Il manque une zone aquatique pour améliorer le séjour et un petit déjeuner un peu plus qualitatif. Attention le bruit des fêtards et autre DJ est audible jusqu'à minuit ( pas gênant pour nous )

This was not a pleasant stay. We did book this hotel for all the amenities. We had a long travel day and on the website it says “jetted tub, pillow menu, and premium bedding” all which this hotel did not have. On top of it, it did not have any warm water. We asked maintenance to come and they said the whole floor was having issues. They were not able to change our room as the hotel was booked. Staff addressed this issues, like “it is what it is” rather than trying to make this a comfortable stay for us. Would not recommend this place. I never write negative comments but this place was horrible. Wi-Fi was also very unstable.

I regret so much about the issues related to the warm water supply which we have faced during a weekend due to a unexpected main malfunction of boilers impossible to fix immediately despite engineers working on it. I wish anyway to remark that we have tried to offered all kind of assistance and never addressed the issues like "it is what it is" but rather offered to move to a different room, book for you another hotel and refund you for the night. For fairness to other travellers and as mentioned we have jetted tubs and pillow choice on higher room categories and orthopaedic mattresses with toppers on all categories. Very sorry that water issues did spoil your stay with us I extend once again my most sincere apologies hoping that you may reconsider the possibility to stay with us again. Sincerely yours.

Absolutely breathtaking!!! Don’t think twice! Book this resort!!!!! The staff went out of their way to accommodate us and the grounds are unreal. They have a shuttle that will take you in and from the town and they are located perfectly to walk to the beach or walk to town.

Really nice hotel for a reasonable price, it feels like a four star, unlike others I have been in. It is pretty grand and beautiful inside. It is right near the center of town which is very convenient for tourists especially, for restaurants and shopping, and easy to walk back after several drinks. It gets really crowded on the main streets just a few blocks away and is like a perpetual street party - tons of fun! Big venues nearby like the opera house and a palace and cathedral, all great visits. I highly recommend this hotel!

The hotel staff is very nice. The property looks like the outdated Hilton properties. The water in the shower was not hot. The place was plagued by a terrible scent. It was better, though, than sleeping on the streets of Palermo.

Ideally situated in the centre of old Palermo, the hotel can be charmingly quirky (our room included a jacuzzi for two with a sizeable dashboard to control the multitude of jets - on the ground floor you can visit the erstwhile strong-room of the bank that used to occupy the premises and so on). The rooms are generously sized, the staff most helpful and facilities are as you might expect. However, as mentioned by other reviewers, the beds are on the hard side, but sleeping on top of, rather than under, the duvet provided some relief. We liked the hotel and will use it again on future visits.

Hotel location was terrible at night after 12:00am we couldn’t sleep until 4:00am Behind hotel was some kind of Pub too much noise music until 4:00 am and hotel couldn’t do anything we stayed 4 nights and was nightmare only manager last day came to us and offered to change the room and we said no thank you. You should of offered on the first day not the last day.

Muy buen hotel.
Hotel muy bien localizado. Puedes ir caminando a las principales atracciones turísticas del centro. Sales a una calle peatonal con mucha variedad de restaurantes y tiendas. El hotel es muy bien conservado, limpio y con amplitud en la habitación. El desayuno es variado y acorde a lo esperado.
