Heerlijke plek
Geweldig verblijf gehad in the horizon. Fijne kamer, heerlijk zwembad, fijn ontbijt op eigen patio, heel erg prive allemaal. Wilden graag in een Cody verblijven, dus optimaal genoten. Zelfs nog een roadrunner gezien en uiteraard kolibri's.

Fantastisch!
Heerlijk hotel met super mooie grote en luxe kamers, ontbijt kan bij je op de kamer, patio of bij het zwembad bezorgd worden! Geniaal uitzicht en volgens mij altijd heerlijk weer. Service in het hotel was ook top, super aardige bediening en zeer behulpzaam en initatiefvol. Bedden zijn ook goed en we hadden een kamer met buitendouche, dat maakte het helemaal onvergetelijk. Had hier graag nog een nachtje doorgebracht. Gebruikt als tussenstop tussen vegas/joshua tree en san diego. Het enige minpunt dat ik kan bedenken is dat de nabij liggende weg goed hoorbaar is, waardoor oordopjes bijna een noodzaak zijn.

Tijdens onze rondreis door West- Amerika werden we aangenaam verrast door dit hotel. Eigenlijk is het geen hotel maar een app./kamer complex (19 kamers) verspeidt over een grote tuin en alle app/kamer zijn aan de achterzijde gelegen aan een zwembad. Alle app./kamers hebben een eigen terras. Het is gewoon een plaatje deze accomodatie. Echt genieten. Ontbijt kun je zelf samenstellen m.b.v. een lijstje dat je kunt invullen. Zelfs de plek waar je wilt ontbijten kun je aangeven, kamer-patio-zwembad. Van alle accomodaties die wij gedurende onze reis bezocht hebben was deze wel de mooiste en beste. Als je ooit in de buurt van Palm Springs wilt overnachten dan doe het hier ( ook prijstechnisch gewoon oke)

Overall, a wonderful experience. The staff are incredibly kind and attentive. This is my first experience at a hotel/resort of this quality, so it's possible I'm a bit shocked by the incredible staff. A couple minor complaints: 1) Air filters were disgusting. I mean they looked busted and we're more dust than filter. Like they hadn't been changed in 5 years or more. Maybe do a basic inspection of each room because some tiny details get overlooked. 2) The lounge chairs in the Herman Bungalow pool are oddly positioned. Ideally they'd be a bit lower in the water. But now I'm just being nitpicky. Such a minor thing. 3) Expired snacks in the room for purchase. Relatively harmless but still. I will say that they provided a credit for the air filter and expired food. A credit that definitely exceeded the monetary value of my notes, but also not something I was going for. We just mentioned them on our way out the door; I'd already signed for everything and was really happy with most everything I experienced here. I didn't say anything about the loungers since that's just a matter of personal preference. I'd highly recommend this place if you want a quiet spot away from too much hustle and bustle.

Just to confirm what others have said, this is a beautiful property with excellent staff and service. However, there are some details lacking that are just not acceptable at this price point. Wifi was spotty, bathroom lighting was terrible, and the fan absolutely sounded like a jet engine taking off. Worst of all, after a cleaning during our stay, there were several long dark hairs stuck to the wall next to the bathroom vanity (I’m blonde and my husband is bald).

This is a designer's masterwork. The place is beautiful with superb materials and excellent staff. However, this is NOT good value for the cost. Our room had NO furniture in it except for the bed, we had to drag patio chairs in . It is true that there are Frette linens everywhere but they cover one of the lamest uncomfortable beds ever! There is no place like a desk where one could do some computer work and the bedside outlets are all used up by lamps, house IPads, routers, etc, there is a single trash bin and its in the bathroom. For $900day, I would expect at the very least an included breakfast. What we got was a brass plaque at our door with our name on it! At least the "resort fee" is a mere $45 extra /day which gets one....???? The service staff were so very good , I worry that the hotel's design is so expensive there's not much left for the staff. In a word, visit this place to see it, but don't stay there.

Be warned, read prior booking: Is this luxury hospitality? Decide by yourself. Extensive rules & regulations checklist to be signed listing hotel policies -> first time and cheap for classy hotel! Welcome drink served on the fly from below reception desk fridge by receptionist -> premium… 2 glasses handed on the go, while valet requiring help with offloading our car -> stressful start Finally sitting in lobby to enjoy arrival drinks when bellman urges to go now to room -> welcome home! Caravane with luggage cart escorted through pool decks, in front of all hotel guests -> grand entrance in style Bungalow temperature set to 45°F making even butler speechless -> how to make guests feel comfy? Absence of water bottles in the room, thus common amenity even in cheap motels -> true 5-star Buttler needed 30 minutes to bring us 4x 33cl aluminum cans of water -> super environmental friendly Only one single miniature 30ml shower gel (sample size) for 2 persons -> generous in serving, green! Two large Labradors dogs enjoying half pool deck & sunbeds -> oh, sorry, hotel is “pest” friendly Fake pool, widely advertised, but only 15cm deep in its entirety (can’t swim) -> just pretending to be… High tech lighting controls, not intuitive at all, with only 4 light sources for the entire room -> it’s bright! Remote controlled curtains, only worked the first minute and then jammed -> why make things easy? In my 50 years travelling worldwide, I have never encountered such experience.

A beautifully designed hotel, around a very chic pool area, great mid-century modern design bungalows. The service from the staff was very good. However the Wi-Fi didn’t work in our room, the bathroom door didn’t shut properly and the extractor fan in the bathroom sounded like a tractor starting up. It’s the details that make the difference in a hotel of this quality and unfortunately L’Horizon just fell short.

We have stayed here a few times. This will be our last visit. The staff except for Valet was extremely rude and condescending. The standard room was too small and needs updating. Couldn’t get a lounge at pool all weekend since they let people put their towels at 8am to “save” it. I’m not happy and will have to find a new place to visit moving forward

Une blague cet hôtel ! 1000 dollars pour dormir dans un hôtel de standing c’est du vol ! Service déplorable et personnel à réception totalement hautaine Dès qu’il pleut vous pouvez plus dormir Le soir on entendu la route les voitures qui passent Le service au restaurant est affreusement long ! Une seule serveuse pour tout faire, vous n’avez pas assez d’argent pour prendre du staff à 1000$ la nuit ? Le nettoyage de la chambre on laisse les draps tachés de café c’est normal ? La douche pas nettoyé ? On commande un petit déjeuner en chambre à 8h il arrive à 9h20 ? C’est normal ? On demande de l’aide pour les bagages personne ne vient ? C’est franchement une honte je déconseille a tout le monde venir séjourne ici Le service n’est vraiment pas à la hauteur ´je suis très déçu

From the moment we arrived, we were pampered and treated with such luxury of service, that it was the best and most relaxing vacation we ever had. We were treated like royalty. No detail was missed. The staff were helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable, with particular reference to Aryanna, Alex, and Andrea. The grounds were meticulously kept. We tried and could not think of a way we could have been treated any better.

Best experience ever.
Amazing from start to finish, site was best I’ve seen, clean, modern well kept up. The staff…..INCREDIBLE, valet/bellman skinny white guy was the best communication, friendly, super supportive just helpful. DONAE (spellcheck) at the front desk hands down was the best staffing I have ever experienced, attitude attentive just everything I could go on n on about donae and her staff made my already amazing trip much more better, we thank you guys, L’HORIZON is 5 stars, I’ll be back whenever I’m in Palm Springs which would be more often now that I have experienced this location. It’s always a good thing when ALL the staff go ABOVE & BEYOND to make your stay the finest. And MARCOS almost forgot about him, add him to the great staff list as well!!! I had to leave in the middle of the night due to an emergency back home, the night staff had my vehicle backed up to the door, trunk open for our luggage, doors open with the heat on in the car. OH MY GOD! Thank you all!!!!!

A couples must! Put this on your hotel bucket list
My husband said, "This has to be one of my favorite hotels in the U.S." That is a big statement! The Herman bungalows are so tasteful and well appointed. PERFECT, just perfect. The staff at L'Horizon is equally incredible. We cannot wait to visit again!
