Love the location -communication is not his strong suit
I booked back in January and had a few questions that were never answered. Okay that’s fine. I will wait til closer. So I waited until April to ask again. Nope. Day of check in, we flew in and I was nervous so I called. VRBO and they called him and gave me his phone number. I finally got a blanket message with the code and check in time.
We arrived at 5 pm an hour after check in and it had NOT been cleaned from the previous person. Dirty towels on the flour, sheets on the floor, sand everywhere. So I called and the earliest he could get someone was the next morning but to he would be willing to give us a refund for our troubles. Then we realized the A/c wasn’t working. So that first night was awful. He agreed over the phone not through VRBO to refund one night stay. And now here we are. It’s been 3 weeks and I have no refund or reply back. I was waiting to send this review to see if I would get a reply because according to VRBO I shouldn’t have called where there was no proof.
It is too bad because we love the location.
