'We were in town for the Kentucky Three Day Event and wanted a place to enjoy beautiful Kentucky after a day at the horse park. This cottage was perfect and was a quiet place to retreat to conveniently close to the horse park and good places for dinner. The cottage is clean, the property is beautiful, and the hosts are kind and welcoming. I would definitely stay here again.'

'Amazing and relaxing stay! Place was beautiful, clean, and peaceful. Bunnies and horses greeted us as we arrived and throughout our stay. Keyless entry was convenient and owner was communicative and friendly. Even though I would recommend this place, I would say one downside is the location of the property. I have motion sickness and the drive to and from the location included lots of windy back roads for 20+ minutes which made me sick. Additionally, the closest convenience store is 15...

'Our 2-night stay at Soggy Bottom Cottage couldn't have been more perfect. It's in a lovely quiet setting; secluded but close to Keeneland, distilleries, and restaurants. The cottage is so cozy and welcoming that we could have stayed there relaxing the entire time. Our hosts next door were kind and accommodating without being the least bit intrusive. 'My husband and I had a wonderful time at this property. The location is fantastic; it is outside if town, with rural appeal, but just minutes from restaurants and shopping. Its a sweet cottage that has everything you need and is wonderfully furnished and decorated. The owner was very friendly and welcoming. They thoughtfully provided little extras, such as bottled water, ice, and snacks, that allowed us to feel like we were truly valued guests at their property. We also loved watching the horses...

'This home was in a perfect location. It is far enough away from the "busy" of Lexington but close enough to get where you needed to go easily. The home was as clean and organized as any VRBO that we have ever stayed in. Perfect for our long weekend get away. Had everything we needed. We would highly recommend it.'

'The house is charming, extremely clean and comfy. The linens and access to helpful kitchen items is a bonus. The ease of booking and gaining access waa seamless. The only little thing was that the sofa bed was in the same room with queen bed. We didnt need to use it but if our other guest had joined the trip it would have been difficult. The king and queen beds are very comfy. '

'My daughter and I stayed here while we attended an event at the Kentucky Horse Park. It is conveniently located and in a beautiful setting surrounded by horses and green paddocks. John and Debbie are very friendly and helpful. Was lovely to see all the fouls that were born in the weeks before we got there.'

'I enjoyed staying there-although it took a little time to adjust. It’s very rustic. A step up from camping. I’m not a camper anymore but we had a wonderful time and if I ever get another chance I will do it again.'
