Dear Owen, We would like to thank you for having written us a feedback regarding your stay ! We are sorry if it was complicated with your car.. Paris is not a city for car as everything is very expensive and Metro system is very good to go around. We do have parkings near the hotel but at a certain cost. And we are sorry to hear that your stay didn' t live up your expectations.We would like to clarify the situation step by step.At your arrival in our establishment, our colleague Marianne made the check in process announcing all the important points of your reservation to confirm everything again with you (which is systematically done with all our customers) this is when she mentioned to you that through your expedia reservation, you had request for two single beds and not a queen size bed. In view of your incomprehension, my colleague printed out the booking confirmation indicating the same thing. Unfortunately, on the day of your check in and at the time of your arrival the hotel was indeed fully booked and we had no possibility to move you to a room with a queen size bed (otherwise we would have had to give the two single beds room to a guest that initially asked for a queen bed, and that would be unfair). As our cleaning team end work at 5pm, they couldn't make the change that same day, this is why Marianne offered you the option to make the change to queen size bed on the next day.What we would like you to understand is that our cleaning team has times of work, and that on our side we follow what you our costumer asked through the online booking companies reservations upon your arrival. If there was a mistake of what was mentioned online, the fault doesn't come to us. The day after our team took the time to make the change before 3pm, during the time they were supposed to make the cleaning of the checkout rooms.You also said to our colleague that the room that we gave you wasn’t what you had booked for, that we didn’t gave you the Deluxe room. But we did, the rooms is exactly as you can see on our website. We are sorry, it wasn’t what you were expecting.About the other points of your comment, we gave you at your arrival a water bottle filled up with fresh water from our filtered fountain and explained you that this water could be refilled was much as wanted on request every day. Seeing your dissatisfaction, as this wasn't enough our colleague has taken the initiative to offer you the Evian bottles of water of the mini bar during your stay. We would like to highlight this, remind you that online you had the information saying that a mini bar was at your disposal in the room if necessary (with extra charges).As for bathrobes, they can be added to your room on request only, as indicated on our website under the "Our rooms" tab. We prefer to do on request, because our hotel welcomes all kind of different travels, some of them don't use robes. We do prefer to give to the ones that really need them instead of just leaving them in the rooms until someone uses them. We think this is the best for our costumers.
