Fantastic location, classic hotel, small downsides
This classic hotel is on a fantastic location: on a little square looking over the church Saint Germain. Staff is friendly and helpful and the hotel is beautiful. The rooms at the back side though are tiny - you can hardly walk around the bed. Rooms in the front are larger. The m massage shower in my room was half broken. Yet, still, this is a very desirable hotel.

Its central location into Saint Germain des Près allows our guests to enjoy the magnificent views of the capital's monuments such as the church of St Germain, the famous Notre Dame Cathedral and many more... All the major attractions are within walk distance and you can even get the best Fashion and Gourmet shopping experiences among the numerous shops like Louis Vuitton, Cartier, Dior or Pierre Hermé at your door step. Prima hotel
Vriendelijk personeel, goed Engels sprekend. Mooie, handige kamers: veel kastruimte, een aparte douche naast het bad en een aparte toiletruimte. De kamer is netjes afgewerkt. Uitzicht op de binnenplaats is niks, maar dat was het enige minpunt. Geen lawaai daar trouwens, dus wel erg rustig. Twee metrolijnen om de hoek van het hotel, veel op loopafstand, dus een goede uitvalsbasis. Dit hotel is een aanrader!

We’ve stayed here for years usually for a couple of nights before moving into an apartment. The location is perfect in the 6th arrondisment—close to museums, restaurants and shopping. Staff is always welcoming and helpful.

Payed extra for a hotel with a view of the city. Chose this hotel especially for the “city view” shown in pictures. Got a room with the view of the front street. Staff was also a bit pretentious. Wouldn’t book this place again.

The hotel had an amazing location, across the street from the Metro, and within walking distance of dozens of restaurants and cafes. Room was quiet. The staff was amazing, very accommodating and helpful. Will come back for sure.

Stayed at the Madison because my family had stayed there 40 years ago and I had fond memories of the place. Although they’ve done some renovations and it looks like nothing I remember, the stay was outstanding. Great location, wonderful service, and a very pleasant room.

It was very good overall. Except The house keeper throwing away all my shopping bags before my check out on next morning ,and also my not much left over toothpaste. I could make a fuss that I still got some stuff inside my shopping bags. That's something I found it very annoying. Hotel should instruction staff never to do.

The concierge staff at the hotel were welcoming and helpful. They were all so kind and did everything possible to make our stay wonderful from restaurant recommendations, to arranging for local transportation. The rooms were lovely, bed comfortable, with daily maid service. The location was perfect with plenty of nearby shops, cafes and night life. I thoroughly enjoyed the jazz singer and complimentary cocktails in the hotel lounge Friday evening. I loved this hotel and can’t wait to return.

I traveled to Paris from the U.S. by myself to celebrate a very special birthday in March, 2023. As a woman traveling alone, I felt very safe and respected by the Madison Hotel staff. They were extremely knowledgable about the best restaurants in Saint Germain Des Pres and shared information about the hotel's interesting history. If you are looking for a very private, quiet, unique stay with "white glove elegance" visit the Madison. The location is exceptional. I consider this my new second home.

The Madison was a perfect place to stay during our first visit to Paris. Everything we wanted to do was a short walk away. For other sites the Metro and RER was at our doorstep. The staff was friendly and extreemly helpful.

Absolutely loved this hotel! It’s on the smaller side (even for Paris) but is very comfortable. Very clean, the staff is very friendly and accommodating. You really can’t beat this location. It’s central to everything and also affordable for the area. Everyone speaks English on staff and I will likely stay here again. Highly recommend.
