Gezellig appartement, genoten!
Gezellig appartement midden in Parijs. Van alle gemakken voorzien, dichtbij de metro en het station. Ideaal om met de trein vanuit Nederland te doen. Echt top om met de kinderen te doen! Gezellig ‘ouderwets’ ingericht, krakende vloerdelen zijn niet storend, maar maken juist het plaatje compleet. Leuk contact met de eigenaresse, reageert snel op vragen. Vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Kortom, een aanrader!

Fantastic hidden gem in the multicultural district. Spacious for Families.
Marie's apartment had everything we needed - spacious, tastefully decorated, clean and tidy, 1st floor (with lift), suitable for families (toys provided!), sunny and light, very close to Gard de Nord (10 minutes easy walk with suitcases) and close to Louis Blanc and La Schappel metro station which gives easy access to all of Paris sights and tourist attractions AND the bonus of a beautiful baby grand piano! Extras like hand soap, dish washing liquid and toilet paper made our stay easy. Most noteworthy was Marie's friendly and helpful advice in giving us tips and suggestions for eating and sightseeing. We had a fantastic stay in this apartment in Paris. Can recommend for those looking for value and space, the only side note would be there is quite a strong Indian presence within the area, but despite this, you can still find good bakeries (best croissants and baguettes during our stay!) and restaurants within walking distance.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour de quelques jours à Paris dans l’appartement de Marie. Il est pratique pour accéder aux différents lieux à visiter. L’appartement est extrêmement confortable avec tout ce qu’on peut avoir besoin pour un séjour (vaisselle et appareils électroménagers). L’ascenseur est extrêmement pratique avec les valises. Tout était parfait et très propre.

Property is fine on problems. Unique Paris apartment Neighborhood is not so good lots of men hanging around Metro station very non French area. Obwohl wir Paris sehr gut kennen (8 Jahre dort gelebt / viele Jahre danach eine eigene Wohnung ), konnten wir Paris unsern Enkeln (und 1 Urenkel) gut nahebringen. Und wir haben uns selbst in der Wohnung sehr wohl und zuhause gefühlt.

Not a great location
If it's your first time in Paris ( it was not mine) I would not recommend this location. It's not central to any of the sights you would like to see. I would not recommend walking this area at night . The owner was very nice and responsive. Building is older and had a smell and not the greatest of conditions. ( water leak in the stairway) If your looking for something moderately priced but not central this is ok.

L'appartement est à 3 stations de métro de montmartre, direct en métro 20 mns des champs elysees... qu'appelez-vous "proche du centre"????? En effet il y a eu une fuite d'eau pendant 2 jours dans l'escalier. Le quartier est très sûr la nuit, même s'il n'est pas composé seulement de franco-français bien blancs.... Je pense que le problème était surtout là. Bonne continuation dans vos voyages à l'étranger.

Lovely apartment close to metro and trains
The apartment is large by Paris standards with a well appointed kitchen. Our only issue was that there is a Paris regulation that prohibits purchase of wine/alcohol after 5 pm in a 5 block area. Seems quite racist. You have to remember to buy wine near the Louis Blanc metro station or near the apartment before 17:00!

Beautiful Apartment
We really enjoyed our stay and Marie was a responsive and attentive host. The apartment was beautifully furnished and comfortable for our group of 4. We were traveling with our teenage daughters and had some intimidating experiences near the La Chapelle station and on the metro so we traveled via the La Blanc station instead and that was better. But overall a lovely apartment and helpful host. Thank you!

My husband, sister and I spend a wonderful 8 days. My husband, especially, enjoyed the piano and the variety of books. Instructions for entering the apartment were clear and information on the environs were particularly useful. There is no parking for autos; however, we had lots of adventure on the Metro (Louis Blanc and LaChapelle) on getting to places. It is SO simple to get to Sacre Coeur We found excellent places to eat, the laundry is across the street, and the staff at the Super Marche were wonderful.

We had a good time at this cozy and spacious apartment. It is well located with metro stations at a walking distance which allowed us to visit all the places we planned to with no problems whatsoever. The property manager was friendly and very helpful with some general and specific questions we had prior to get there. She allowed us to check in earlier so we didn't waste our time waiting. Gemütliches Appartement mitten in Paris
Wir - eine Familie mit 3 Kindern zwischen 5 und 14 - hatten eine wunderbare Woche in dieser wunderschönen, großzügigen und sehr sauberen Wohnung in nächster Nähe zu den beiden Bahnhöfen Gare du Nord und Gare de l'Est und einigen Metrostationen. Da in der gleichen Straße Bäckerei und Restaurants vorhanden waren, konnten wir zu Hause frühstücken und auch abends lecker essen, was mit Kindern ein großes Plus ist. Nachts war es sehr ruhig, so dass entspanntes Schlafen kein Problem war. Wenn wir wieder nach Paris gehen, dann auf jeden Fall zu Marie!

Only 1 block to one metro station a just a few to another line. My son enrolled in the American Business school for a semester and that was only a 7-8 minute walk. Apt was comfortable for both of us. We brought our own comforters as our stay was at the height of Winter and we are from a warm climate. Glad we did as it was in the 30s at night. Easy check in was appreciated after the long flights from east coast USA. Excellent value. We enjoyed our stay

ほぼ、友人の家を借りている感じ。すぐに生活を始める最低限の物はそろっている。しかし、10日間オーナーは一度も来ないので、自分の家のように全て自分でやらなければならない。アパートの鍵はトリッキーで、初日は通りかかった隣人が開けてくれたが、次の日は買物から帰って開ける事が出来ず3時間締め出された。オーナーにメールすると、その友人が現れて開けてくれた。ピアノは鍵盤がひび割れ、欠けていて古い。以上から考えると2人でとまるには料金が高い。4、５人でとまるならコスパはいいかも。

Schöne Wohnung
Haben als Familie mit Teenagern eine Woche in dieser sehr schönen Wohnung verbracht. Bei Hitze im August angenehmer Rückzugsort, trotz belebter Lage nachts ruhig. Nahe Gare du Nord, vor allem indische Lokale und Geschäfte, viele Immigranten in den Straßen. Sehr nette Bäckerei ums Eck, Supermärkte in der Nähe, gute Verkehrsanbindung in alle Richtungen und ins Zentrum. Canal Saint Martin zu Fuß gut zu erreichen, dort hat uns besonders gut gefallen. Haben uns über das Klavier in der Wohnung gefreut, auch sonst war alles da, was man braucht oder jemals brauchen könnte.

Spring Break in Paris
We had a wonderful time in Paris! Marie’s apartment is so charming and just as described. It was very convenient to be so close to the La Chapelle Metro stop which connects to just about anywhere in the city. Besonders und einzigartig schön…
ist die Wohnung von Marie Wattiez. Und darüber hinaus ist wirklich alles da, was man braucht - inkl. Bettwäsche und Handtüchern, Gewürzen und einer Begrüßungsflasche Wein. Marie kommuniziert und kümmert sich persönlich, so dass man sorgenfrei ankommt. Die Lage der Wohnung an der Schnittstelle zwischen klassischem Paris und multikultureller Großstadt ist absolut spannend und mit der Metro ist man schnell überall. Wir hätten es für unseren Paris-Trip mit unseren drei Kindern nicht besser treffen können. Vielen Dank!

Paris sisters trip
The property was a nice representation of classic French apartment building. Somewhat disappointing that the piano and other pieces of furniture were covered with vinyl cloths. The kitchen was nicely equipped, and the shower was just right. The neighborhood is mainly Indian.

Nahe Gare du Nord - einmal etwas anders.
Sehr schöne, geräumige Wohnung. Rückwärtiges Schlafzimmer absolut ruhig, strassenseitige Zimmer dank bester Fensterisolierung ebenfalls ruhig; (die rue Louis Blanc ist eine schmale Straße mit kaum Durchgangsverkehr). Interieur gleicht einem kleinen Museum. Lage inmitten zahlreicher, meist indischer/Sri-lankischer Geschäfte und Restaurants. Via Metro 7 schnell von Station Louis Blanc zu Oper, Notre Dame, île Saint Louis. Canal Saint Martin in ein paar Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Gare du Nord zu Fuß in ca. 15 Minuten zu erreichen.

Dépaysement assuré !
Suite à un sinistre dans notre appartement, nous avons dû trouver un logement suffisamment grand et confortable pour y loger 5 semaines et assurer la scolarité de notre ado. Grâce à l'accueil chaleureux et de la propriétaire et de la personne qui nous a reçue, nous nous sommes tout de suite sentis bien. Pour ne pas vivre ces semaines comme une épreuve, nous avions décidé de faire comme-ci nous étions en vacances ... et le quartier s'y prête ! Ce quartier indien est un vrai délice!!! Il est calme et exotique. Nous y avons fait une cure de cheese nans et avons fait des courses dans des magasins 100% indiens. La boulangerie "Bichon" à 2 pas et la proximité de nombreuses lignes de métros et RER sont également des atouts.

Great stay, extraordinary service
The apartment is beyond beautiful, with every amenity thought out by the extraordinary host. Marie Pierre left wine and water for us, had toiletries in the bathroom, and everything you could need in the kitchen. The apartment is steps from Gare de Nord, one of the most accessible train stations in Paris. We could hop on to the metro to explore the city, or hop the Eurostar to explore the rest of Europe. We are so grateful to Marie Pierre for the wonderful stay!

Wonderful Gem in Paris 10th
My family stayed at this apartment for 6 nights over the Christmas holiday. We loved everything about this apartment. It has 2 bedrooms with sleeping space for 5, a renovated, fully-equipped kitchen and a split bathroom, with a toilet in one room and the shower and sink in another. The check-in process was very flexible and self-directed as there are two building codes to get you into the building and a code for the lock box outside the apartment to get the keys. Marie left a spare set of keys inside the apartment as well, which proved convenient. The location was perfect for us as it was less than a 10 minute walk from Gare du Nord and Gar d'lest Train Stations. The neighborhood was ethnic Indian and very good restaurants of all types were within a very quick walk, as were pharmacies, bakeries and groceries. The apartment is full of Parisien charm with high ceilings and intricate mouldings. It is furnished with lovely furniture and even a piano. There are typical floor to ceiling windows and wonderfully old hard wood floors. The bedrooms had plenty of drawer and closet space for a longer stay. The dishwasher and washing machine were very convenient as well. Marie was a wonderful host and was available over email with extremely fast response times. We could not find one complaint about this apartment and thank Marie for sharing it with us! Thank you again, Marie!

Les collègues de Léa à l'opéra de Lyon ont laissé un appartement impeccable et ils sont les bienvenus une prochaine fois. Je recommande vivement ces hôtes.

Modern mit altem Charme
Tolles Appartement mit modern und vollausgestatteter Küche. Von den Geräten bis zu den Gewürzen alles vorhanden. Renoviertes Bad mit XXL-Dusche. Schöne, alte Parkettböden im sonstigen Wohnbereich. Bäcker, Restaurants, Supermarkt, Metro: alles in der Nähe, wie beschrieben. Das einzige Manko sind die lauten Wasserleitungen, die aber dem Alter des Hauses geschuldet sind und nicht am Appartement liegen. Marie hat alles perfekt vorbereitet und wir haben unseren Aufenthalt genossen.

Wir haben in dieser geräumigen, bestens ausgestatteten Wohnung nicht nur gewohnt, sondern Paris gelebt und gefühlt. Eine einzigartige, wohltuende Atmoshäre hat diese Wohnung ausgestrahlt. Optimale Verkehrsanbindung! Innerhalb von wenigen Minuten erreicht man mit der Metro Monmartre, den m.E. schönsten Stadteil von Paris. Von allen Wohnungen, die wir bislang über FeWo- direkt gebucht haben, war diese die beste!
