Prima hotel om te verblijven wanneer je Parijs wilt bezoeken. Het hotel zit in een rustiger gedeelte van de stad, maar je kan prima met het openbaar vervoer (step, fiets,metro en bus) de stad door. Onder het hotel zit een parkeergarage waar je eventueel de auto kwijt kan. Wel even contact opnemen met het hotel om te vragen of er plek is.

Mooi schoon hotel! Super centraal! Wij waren met zn 3 en en zouden een slaapbank krijgen stond op internet. Maar toen we aan kwamen kregen we 2 geschakelde slaapkamers! Heel fijn. Het enige was dat de bedden erg hard waren.

The rooms are very small and we had no place to open our suitcases and could barely walk around the beds. The drinks are very good though! The welcome drink was a nice bonus.

It was a pleasure stay just one night at Moxy, very handy location nearly the Bastille and few steps of the Marais. The room was organised and cleaned, I slept really good with opened window. No much traffic noise what was pretty good..

Nice hotel
Nice hotel and very close to a metro station. Only problem was the check out, I had to make a reservation on the full amount for the stay, even that I already paid everything through hotels.com, I didn’t have time to fully understand the reason since I had a plane to catch. So now waiting to see if I pay double or what’s going on. And no responds from the hotel on email yet.

Lovely pleasant
Lovely modern hotel not far from the metro. Hotel room was small but did the job. No concerns on cleaning. Just lack of space and there was no fridge.

Fabulous location, fun decor, friendly staff! The room was a bit like an IKEA dorm room, but cozy and quiet. Super location near 2 Metro lines and buses. Also a great Sunday market right down the street!

The Staff is excellent, friendly and very helpful. For breakfast there’s a wide choice of both sweet and salted food as well as a large variety of beverage. The rooms are just acceptable. What I liked the least is that 1) the bathroom is small and 2) there’s no real wardrobe to store your clothes. Just a tube with 6 holders. The area around offers a very good choice of restaurants, cafés and pubs. Moreover the metro stop (Breguet-Sabin) is literally at 100 m from the hotel door, which give this strutture a certain plus.

If you are going to Paris to stay in your room and watch television this not the hotel for you. If you need a reasonably priced clean hotel with good restaurant and bar this is the place. The staff is great and food/service is good. The rooms are small with no real extra space. We had a great experience.

The front desk staff and bartenders were excellent, very good costumer service skills. My room was beside the maids storage and we would wake up everyday around 8am with the slamming of the doors. Everyday we have to come out and let them know there were people sleeping and they would stop but the next day it would happen again due to a new maid in service. The hotel is NOT close or walkable to the main attractions. I would spent from 15-20 euros everyday back and forth in taxis. Other than than, the stay was very nice, the staff makes the stay enjoyable!

We very much appreciate your positive comments, though I am sorry to see that some issues did not make your stay as comfortable as you would have wanted. We work hard to make every stay a memorable one and I'm really sorry that you could only partially feel that.I am verry sorry about the maids being too loud in the mornings. I have immediately informed the Housekeeping manager to make sure they are more careful in the future. As for the walking distance, I am surprised as our location is one of our main advantages and is one of the reasons guests stay in our hotel. Many restaurants, shops and attractions are close by. To give you a few examples, we are 5 minutes away from "Le Marais" neighborhood, 25 minutes away from the Père Lachaise Cemetery and Châtelet-les-halles, 30 minutes away from the Notre Dame Cathedral and the Louvre Museum. There are also metro lines 5 and 8 that will take you to the main attractions in a few ampunt of time. However, I am very sorry if that was not convenient for you and that you had to take the taxi each day as I know traffic in Paris is a struggle. Elsewhere, we are glad that you enjoyed the friendliness of the staff!Thank you again for sharing your experience, if your plans or travels take you back to Paris, we would be more than happy to welcome you back and make sure your next visit will be even better than the previous one.Warm Regards,

This is basically a hostel. I stayed here with a group and was given a dramatically lesser experience for booking through a third party website. The staff member I dealt with the most left me feeling like I was on a hidden camera show. My room had black mold in the shower and I discovered the under layers of my bedding had urine stains the morning I was checking out. My room specifically was incredibly loud and in terrible condition.

Staff was not overly friendly, old old carpet in the room and small room. It did have a queen bed and we had a balcony but it's a definite dtep up and down to get in. No dresser to put stuff away. They do give a free drink at the bar but its limited to 4 choices and bar tender is not please with serving them. Parking is expensive and very few spots so u might need to park in staff or handicapp or just block others in. And it is not walking distance to anything or its a min of a 2 hr walk . There are worse places to stay but there are allot of better places to stay. Also this is not the place to stay if you don't speak any or little French.

Dear Douglas, Thank you very much for your candid review of your recent stay at our hotel. Your feedback is extremely valuable to us, as we strive to improve with each stay. Please accept our sincere apologies for the service issues that you experienced during your stay. Though I must say I am surprised with your comments regarding the friendliness of the staff, the location and the languages spoken. All of our guests are extremely happy with our staff, they all think they are genuinely friendly and helpful, so I wonder what happened with you so that you did not find them friendly? What did they do wrong? Concerning the carpets and the lack of a dresser, we are currently shampooing all of the carpets and we are aware that our rooms cannot allow us to have a dresser in them, however it is also part of the Moxy concept to have an open closet with hangers.Then, for the free drink, it is a "welcome" drink for all our guests and we cannot allow them to have anything that they want at the bar since it is free. The choices are already varied with hot drinks, beers, glasses of wines or the Moxy cocktail. As for the walking distance, our location is one of our main advantages and that is one of the reasons guests stay in our hotel. Many restaurants, shops and attractions are close by, much less than a 2 hour walking distance. To give you a few examples, we are 5 minutes away from "Le Marais" neighborhood, 20 minutes away from Gare de Lyon, 25 minutes away from the Père Lachaise Cemetery, 25 minutes away from Châtelet-les-halles, 30 minutes away from the Notre Dame Cathedral, 35 minutes away from the Louvre Museum and it would take about 1h20 to walk to the Eiffel Tower - which is pretty far from our location - so many things are walking distance accessible.Finally, all of our staff speak perfectly good English (another thing our guests love and appreciate) and many other languages such as Spanish, German, Italian, Portuguese, Korean, Romanian, Polish, Arabic... Loved the room, the balcony and the nice lobby. The rooms are missing a real desk to work. This is the draw back if you need to do some business. Staff really helpful and nice.
