When we pulled up to the hotel, I was in awe. It is gorgeous and has a beautiful courtyard out front with stairs leading down to a restaurant and shops (including the grocery store featured in the movie, Amelie).
Our room was smaller than it appeared in pictures, it it was cute. Had to put suitcases under the bed for space so inconvenient for dressing, and there were only two hangers. But, I still loved it.
My only “complaint” was that we were advised there was no breakfast served (but we did see people eating in dining room the morning we left) and that coffee was only to be taken in the morning. We did have a kettle with tea bags and instant coffee in the room, but the paper cups were not replaced after being used.
All in all, I would stay here again, however I would look for a larger room. And inquire further about breakfast!
Oh, also, at check in, I was advised I needed to pay a city tax fee that I was unaware of. Was not expecting the additional fee of $93 CAD… perhaps I missed the fine print when booking!?
