Hi Bill, I’m deeply sorry your stay was less than perfect. We truly aim for you and your group to have an exceptional stay. We’re sorry the house was not to your liking — we’ve never gotten the feedback the house is “tired” before. The pictures are a very accurate representation of the house; as it’s called the “Epic Lodge”, the aesthetic is that of a contemporary mountain home. We continually are making upgrades to the house each year. I do apologize about the A/C — again we’ve never had a complaint before. We installed a new 4 ton system just a few years back. We have it serviced regularly, and it was just serviced at the end of May. As there was a brief power outage as you had mentioned, it’s possible it threw it off for a period of time. I reset the breaker and the A/C was coming out at the expected cool temperature. In just the 15 minutes or so I was there, it was already down to 75, and asked if it remained warm to let me know and I would get an emergency technician out right away. As I didn’t hear back, I’m assuming it was working properly after that. We’ve had large gatherings of 30+ people in the living room before ourselves and the A/C was able to keep the entire floor cool and comfortable. I’m also sorry about if there was a window that wasn’t working; would you mind letting us know which window? Last summer we had several windows replaced along with almost all of the window hardware to ensure all windows were properly working. We will ensure that window is either fixed or replaced altogether.

We really appreciate the constructive feedback as well; we are always looking to make improvements to the house. Thank you for bringing to our attention the shortage of dish towels and cocktail glasses -- we will add that to our list today and make sure the house is properly stocked with both of those. We also agree the weeds growing were not satisfactory -- we had the landscaper come last week to take care of all of that. Our sincerest apologies for not having that done before your stay, that is entirely on us. We will get our handyman over to the house this week to take care of the dresser drawer as well, thank you for bringing to our attention.
