'This was the perfect property for our recent trip to Virginia Tech for our daughter’s graduation. It is easily accessible from 460, making it a great choice for Tech activities. 'What a peaceful place to visit. Wonderful views of the river, which was mere steps from the house. Had everything we needed for a quiet getaway Thanksgiving. 'We enjoyed our stay here. Nice big kitchen area, TVs in every room which the kids enjoyed. Hot tub was in a great spot where you could look out over the lake while we stayed warm in the 40degree weather :) The driveway is quite steep and short so keep that in mind as you approach it for the first time.'

'The house was very clean and had everything we needed. It was located right off the interstate which was convenient. I gave the location a 4 out 5 because if you’re looking for a location that has many restaurants/stores you will need to drive about 15-20 minutes. No big deal to do that. We would stay here again.'

'Missing mixing bowl and shampoo and soap for the bathroom would have been nice. Also horrible ant issue, we even brought them home with us but…we loved it.'

'I can't say enough about our stay. They literally though of everything possible that one could need plus some. As soon as you walk in, it just feels like home. Kathie left fresh Pumpkin muffins on the table for us upon arrival. The property in itself is breathtaking. We spent hours on the porch off of the living room. We were lucky enough to get a little storm during our stay so we got to enjoy the storm on the porch and watch as the lightening and fireflies lit up the night. It was a magical...

'I never do reviews, but was so impressed I am sharing. The property was exactly as pictured and described. Had booked a year in advance for my daughter’s graduation. It was a great place for a family gathering. We took advantage of kayaks, cornhole, and pool table. Everything was clean, grass mowed, and fire pit ready to go.
