Lovely cabin with large main room combining living room, kitchen, and with a large table in the middle. Check-in was a quick stop at Mary's house next door to pick up the key. There is little to no traffic on the street in front of the cabin, and the back yard gives way to farmland and forest, which made for a very relaxing stay.
The cabin is well appointed and had plenty of space for our party of 7. We did not need to use the bunk room, which was good, since the bunks are relatively small are we are all large folks. Close to Keuka and Seneca Lake, we were able to do a wine tasting in the morning and come back to make lunch with a wine we had selected; we did the same for dinner.
A few things you may consider, but these did not detract from our stay in any way: there is no wi-fi, the road leading up to the cabin from the lake is quite steep (if you're planning on visiting in the winter), and there were some bees flying around the porch and back deck.
I would certainly recommend staying at the Hoovers' cabin if you have a larger party and want to explore the area. It is a great value for a comfortable getaway.
