'We had a great time at Finca Ilusion where we stayed 3 nights. The view from the balcony is stunning, overseeing Pereira and the location high on the hill is nice. Federico the owner was in Germany during our stay but arranged all our trips perfectly via WhatsApp (coffee Finca tour, Willy tour, visit Termales San Vincente, and trip to Salento-Cocora-Filandia). 'Good business-type of hotel in the centre of Pereira. Room and bed were comfortable and clean, although decoration could be more inspiring. Bathroom was good too. Service was professional and friendly. Breakfast was simple but good.'

'Centrally located hotel in Pereira with breakfast and comfortable room with safe, air conditioning and hot water. Staff is attentive. Unique old home with antique decorations. Book rooms towards the back as its in a busy street that can be loud on weekends. Stairs to go up to the property but staff help with your bags after ringing the doorbell. Breakfast consists of different types of egg, fruit, cheese, juice and coffee/hot chocolate. Would be good to have other traditional Colombian breakfast...

'We had a wonderful time and aside from the haute-cuisine quality, Nora and Jorn's warmth make you ponder when the next visit will be. Our door knob broke just before we arrived, but as our visit took place on a holiday, we're sure that that minor issue has been taken care of. We'll go back to El Lugar Nórdico. We loved the place, its cleanliness and how we were able to rest and forget about city noises, work, or even television (we didn't bother).'
