Het was een mooie kamer met een groot terras met ligbedden en zicht op de zee en de boulevard. En een zwembad.

Eenvoudig hotel dat nog aan het verbouwen en uitbreiden is. Kamer niet al te groot. Het was qua netheid ok maar hield niet over. Bed wel echt goed! Superaardige mensen en prima bijbehorend koffietentje. Direct aan het strand.

This hotel build in 1962 breathes old Caribbean style. The rooms have everything to accomodate a pleasant stay. The window shutters keep out the sun and noise. The bed is small, but very comfortable! The view over Great Bay is breathtaking! The entrance is in the main shopping street, and historical center of Philipsburg

Close to the hotel is Lizzy, for excellent breakfast served with a smile

Het gebouw is Oud en aan renovatie toe. Alles was basic of zelf slecht. Ontbijt werd heel laat gebracht en veel keuze heb je niet dus wij gingen buiten ontbijten. Plus punt is Hotel is aan de strand dat was fijn.

One Caribbean Night
Ik had 1 overnachting. get is een vrij basic hotel. De kamer had een prima bed, niet hard. Kon heerlijk slapen. Helaas geen magnetron en waterkoker op de kamer. Wel in de lobby. De omgeving is heel fijn.Het hotel is aan het strand. e tentjes en bars zijn erg leuk. op de zondagavond live muziek. Was genieten.

Eenvoudig hotel direct aan zee
Het hotel heeft een erg goed prijs kwaliteit verhouding. Veel gasten komen er voor een paar dagen, vooral van omliggende eilanden. Het hotel biedt een goedkoop ontbijt, wat ook als room service genoten kan worden. Verder zijn beachhanddoeken, strandstoelen + parasol en het gebruik van de zoetwaterdouche op de binneplaats na het zwemmen in zee gratis. Phillisburg is overdag druk als cruise schepen (2-6) er aanleggen. 'S avonds vertrekken die weer en om half zes gaan dan ook de rolluiken dicht van de prachtige winkels, vertrekken politieagenten(met honden) en is er nauwelijks wat te doen in straten, buiten de casino's. Alleen de McDonalds en enkele restaurants blijven open. Ook heeft St. Maarten strenge zondagsrust. Maar.. bij veel cruiseschepen in de haven gaan winkels wel open voor een paar uur.

Douce deed het bijna niet en alle spullen oud. Maar ongelofelijk aardige medewerkers en top ontbijtservice.

Leuk hotel vlak bij het strand.
Het was een schoon hotel. De kamer was klein maar prima voor met z'n tweeën. De ligstoelen op het strand zaten bij de prijs in begrepen. Niet al het personeel achter de receptie was even vriendelijk. De manager daarentegen was heel vriendelijk. Bij het inchecken was de manager er echter niet en degene die er wel zat, heeft alleen de sleutel van de kamer gegeven en een handtekening gevraagd. Hierdoor moet je later zelf weer terug om bijvoorbeeld de code van het wifi te vragen en dan hoor je ook dat de strandstoelen gratis zijn. Er is in de hotelkamer ook geen informatiemap waarin dit staat. Het wifi doet het niet altijd maar meestal wel. Het ontbijt was niet bij de prijs inbegrepen. We hebben dit een keer gedaan. De keuze was niet bijzonder groot maar de prijs ervan was scherp. Al met al een prima hotel, als je niet te veel eisend bent zeker wat betreft de prijs-kwaliteit verhouding. Je kan niet direct bij het hotel parkeren maar wel op een paar honderd meter afstand.

If you want to find a hotel with the best service, this is the place to be. Very VERY friendly and helpful in every possible way. Not too expensive either and they really treat you like family, not like some hotels, where you are just a room number. I'll stay there again if I go to St. Martin !!!

The hotel was located in a great area. There is no parking at the hotel though. we had a room that was outside located next to the pool area on the second floor and there was one night where they played very loud music until approximately 11:00 PM. Most of the staff was OK, unable to call for a taxi and having;Most of the staff was OK however we did miss a activity event partially due to the front desk clerk, unable to call for a taxi and having us wait for 30 minutes. The pool area was nice though. We booked a double twin-size bed room. The room was very small.

Great to be back at the Seaview Beach Hotel. Lovely upgrades to the outdoor areas, including the cabanas and infinity pool. Owners are working continually to modernize the hotel rooms and interior spaces. Can’t wait to see what’s been completed next time I visit.

Pro and cons place was clean rooms outdated but clean and crowded when cruise ships are in as the hotel caters to the cruiships so it gets pretty crowded during the days and when no cruise ships are in there's not a whole bunch open in the area ,very few dinning options after 6 pm enjoyed our stay the staff were all friendly and helpful and the area was affordable for cabs around the island and there's a bus stop right close on back street I would stay again

Overall. This was a good experience for me. I solo traveled there and felt safe. The staff was nice and helped when needed. I was able to walk to everything I needed. Took a taxi only when I wanted to. I highly recommend for anyone wanting a place that is easily accessible to the beach and tourist activities.

When I arrived I had to change rooms because the room wasn't clean and there were stones in the bathroom furniture. There was no water on the first day. The room was cleaned very well on a regular basis. However, the stairs to the rooms were not cleaned once a week, completely dirty. When you look at the hotel from the beach side, you are in a completely different world than when you enter the building from the main entrance. It has to renovate urgently.

From my room I could hear the music from the bar, it didn’t bother me but maybe it would other people. The area mostly shuts down at 4/5 pm when the cruise ships leave. There are still a few restaurants and stores open. My bed was noisy but comfy.

This hotel is quite old. The hotel part of the facilities needs upgrading, for sure. However the grounds are wonderful and for me make up for the lack of modernization of the hot e l part. There is a nice pool, a bar with good drinks and good food right on the property. There is a grocery store on property. A bit spendy but handy. It is on the boarwalk so close to sand, beach and shopping. One siae is on the beach, the other on a main road for shopping .

The bedroom was absolutely awful, one of the beds had a mattress that was tilting so my dad was almost falling out of bed several times in the night… two tiles in the bathroom broke and made the towel rail break aswell.. it smelt like mould and the furnitures were just horrible… the pool area, staff and service was really good though but this hotel needs an update asap!!!

The property focuses on their pool and bar that is in front of the Boardwalk. They pay much less attention to the upkeep of the rooms. With that said, I thought the bed and linens were very good. The place needs to be upgraded. They could charge much more if they invested in their property.

Perfect location! Walkable to all shopping and dining. 25 - 30 minute ride from the airport. Though our room with 2 twin beds is in need of an upgrade, we only paid $95/ night. Everything else about the hotel is spectacular! The infinity pool overlooking the Great Bay, steps from the beach, includes chair, umbrella n towel on the beach, the staff is great, pizza is delicious, great area to relax at night n enjoy music, a drink and the view. Would definitely stay again.

Location in Philipsburg and beach access (including pool and bar) are perfect. Rooms and services, although correct and functional, are in need of a little TLC... I can recommend for a short stay (beds were comfortable and room was clean), but don't expect modern and/or luxurious... until fully renovated. Very limited activities on the beachfront when no cruiseships in port.
