Kitchen well equipped so that you can cook in the home. Kids had so much fun in the game room. We would love to stay again! Thank you for your hospitality!'

'There is great attention to detail. The linens, blankets and towels were all so nice. The kitchen is well stocked with nice dishes and everything needed for cooking, all is good shape. A walk to the lake gets you exercise and there is a dock with benches and a place to swim. The view from the house is beautiful. Thank you!!'

'If you haven't seen the movie On Golden Pond, you can watch it on YouTube. You'll know exactly what to expect for decor and ambience.This was an exceptional experience! Someone posted about the screen door slamming each time you closed it. My Great Grandparents door did the same, when I didn't control it. I felt like that excited little kid, each time I heard it. We rarely went inside. The screen porch was too peaceful. The loon sounds were mesmerizing. Don't be envious that you have less sun....

'We had a fantastic stay at this house with friends! The location's proximity to the mountain was a game-changer, and the host was incredibly easy to communicate with. The house met all our needs, but we suggest a few improvements. Firstly, more kitchen equipment would be great; we found a shortage of bowls compared to the number of people the house sleeps. Secondly, having a dedicated area for skis and ski boots would enhance the overall experience in the winter. Lastly, an extra couch or two...

'Cabin is wonderfully renovated with modern conveniences while fully embracing the "get away from it all" theme. Property was super clean and easy communication with in-town property manager. Fantastic master bedroom and perfect kitchen and sitting area for meals, table games and just disconnecting from it all. Dock with adirondack chairs was peaceful. Loon Lake is perfect by itself, but the supplied 2 kayaks made it even better. Owner is fantastic. Hope to return soon. 5 stars!!'

'I was looking for a place close to Sugarloaf to stay for two families. This place was 20 minutes from the mountain and was perfect for us with enough beds for everyone.'

Kerrie was so prompt and kind in answering any questions we had. I really cannot express how much of an amazing experience we had here not our gratitude for sharing their gorgeous home with us for these past few days.'

'Love this area!! This is our third visit to Saddleback and will not be our last. Beautiful home, great location! I could not have asked for more. The only minor disappointment was the fireplace was not working. Not a deal breaker, but we love to come back after a cold day of skiing and warm up by a fire. Again, wasn’t a huge deal and we loved our time there. Looking forward to the next trip in the near future.'

'Peter and Jane are terrific hosts of a beautiful spot on the lake. We did all the things. We hiked Mt. Blue to the top. We peddled the boat out onto the lake. We watched the sunrise and sunset on the screened in porch. We made fires and roasted marshmallows. We had a terrifically beautiful family vacation at this perfect little cottage on the lake.'

'The area is gorgeous. Found some great hiking. Fire pit and hot tub were awesome. House was just perfect… clean and stocked kitchen. Exactly what I expected! Def want to go back someday soon!!!'
