'Well kept and well managed. Just what I hoped for and I would recommend it, but that's with mixed feelings because I want it to be available next year (want it to remain my secret, oh well). Like most of rural VT no cell service, but wi-fi calling worked for me in this flat. Great coffee and sandwich place 1.3 mi north, outside seating.'

'I loved this place. It's a rustic cottage with all the amenities. It was near the university so it was easy to go back and forth. It was clean and cozy, tucked away in the foliage. The host and hostess were very accommodating and responsive. I hope to stay here again next year. '

'My family, partner and I stayed for a week in the cozy cabin for the total solar eclipse. We have family in Vermont and this was the perfect stay nearby. The cabin was exactly as described and had everything one could ask for. Our hostess, Hannah and cyrus were friendly and provided recommendations of things.to do nearby. 'My husband and I along with our 12 yr old Maltipoo enjoyed a long weekend at this home. It was well maintained, and had more than enough room (3 bedrooms and two full bathrooms.) The area was beautiful, and the house sits on over 300 acres. Everything we needed was in the house, and there were great farmer's markets in the area, and just as the leaves were changing colors there were fantastic views. 'House was centrally located about 30 minutes from everything we needed. Very clean and comfortable, well stocked. Even though owner said that there was no cell coverage had good coverage with AT&T. Would definitely rent from them again.'

'We stayed for 4 nights, having come from the UK to visit family in Vermont. Excellent communication with Terrie before our trip and Philip visited soon after our arrival to peronally welcome us. Peaceful, comfortable and comprehensively equipped, it was perfectly located for access to town and for exploring the local area. As a retired primary teacher, it was wonderful to see all the old school furniture, equipment and books.'

Don’t go here: nothing like the picture’s
"This hotel missed the opportunity to do some update’s in the 1980’s, and didn’t try to catch up afterwards. Really everything in worn out. A horrible matras, big stains on the ceiling, old and dubious carpet. An airco from the roman empire that didnt work properly. The bathroom was falling apart, like literally. Even an easy fix, the towels, did disappoint: to small, and very thin (due to aging). Add to this that it was the noisiest hotel i have ever been in. Although the hotel was not fully booked, I got upstair neighbours. The woke me up at 6.00, and I think they did not made extra noise, it was so noisy it sounded like (the very needed) construction work). Regarding the previous reviews (which I unfortunately did not read upfront), it must be known to the management that there property is noisy to the max. Why give people than rooms underneath eachother? Staff while checking is was nice though. "
