'The location is excellent, right on the seafront. Parking along the boulevard wasn't a problem for us, it was free. The hotel staff was friendly, the room was clean, beds were fine and the freshly prepared to order breakfast was very good. The hotel is in dire need of maintenance, though. A lot of stains in the ceiling of our room due to leakage. In the corridor, a bucket to catch the dripping water from the leaking skylight. '

'This is an old-fashioned hotel with mostly elderly guests. The breakfast is very simple and typically British. No concessions to tourists. The beds are hard. It is simple and clean but not very pleasant.'

'Rose Tor is situated perfectly in downtown. We loved walking around the night we arrived and seeing the nightlife around town. The breakfast was delicious the next morning! All of the staff was extremely accommodating and gracious. The hotel is quaint, and we loved it!'

'We've just returned from a lovely, 2 night stay here. The location is fantastic, right on the beach, opposite the pier and just a 5-10 minute walk into town. Approximately 15 minutes from the train station. The staff were all lovely and very helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. The breakfasts were hearty. Full English then some!
